Norwegian is typically "en" as a primer, just in case people forget.

Side note - not a lot of Americans (or Scots I assume) are used to Icelandic patronymics. Grant Wahl (biggest US soccer journalist) was interviewing Aron Johannsson once, asking him about how he grew up, time he spent in the US, etc. Then he asked him "so what's your father's name?" "Err.... Johann..." It's actually more correct to call an Icelander by his/her first name only than Mr. Xsson/Xsdottir as it kind of makes no sense. But it's not always a patronymic, it can also be matronymic (is it sexist that my computer tries to auto-correct this to patronymic?), as Heidur Helgusson shows (Heidur, son of Helge).

I woke up at 4:45 local time to watch this match. I'm allowed random and rambling trains of thought.

like him a lot , has the dig and desire needed and has an eye for a pass forward, something i think ledley lacked,

Reminds me so much of Modric of madrid, always playing with his head up.

    Very impressive today alongside Biton.

Could be the birth of a great midfield partnership.

He has got a long LONGGGGG way to go before he can be considered in Ledleys class imo.

100 percent agree, all im saying is at times ledley lacked the killer pass going forward, dont get me wrong he could keep the ball all day, but in the spl most teams have ten behind the ball and we need a bit more forward thinking from the middle of the park

I think Ledley was shackled too much by Lenny, asked to stay behind the ball more than he would like.

Johansen seems like a different type of player, more Kayal like but with more accurate passing.

Out of all players I can think of worldwide that I know, id say so far Johansen has reminded me of Flamini of Arsenal(in his first spell there), combative, energetic and good use of the ball.

as i said before ledley with a better range of passing (FORWARD) so far so good, but he needs to play in a central 3, was over run last week in the central 2

not been great for me i thought he was supposed to be an attacking mid so far he's been playing 5 - 10 yard sideways passes and rarely getting into the box from midfield

played a few * balls and gave it away a few times. Fell over a lot but overall played well.

I think a few more games and he'll be up to speed.

As for the highlighted part, He isn't an attacking midfielder, who ever told you that was ill-informed.

As for the rest of it, you clearly haven't been watching him closely enough
