Stefan Johansen

Johansen underperformed last year and has hardly kicked a ball so far under Rodgers. I think hewould be an asset, but I don't think he'll renew his contract so it makes sense to sell. We have too many midfielders anyway.

 

I think people forget how much his game relies on intensity. He's not the type of player who can play when he's 90% fit because he looks crap when he does but when he's 100% fit he's a very good player and I'd have him in the side ahead of McGregor every day of the week. He's like Brown in that respect (the importance of his fitness, I mean).

I'd keep him. Well, if and only if he'll sign an extension. We can't lose him for nothing obviously.

If we can make any kind of money on him I would sell, yes there are worse players at the club but he's been our most frustrating player to watch (bar Efe) for the last year, there's a time when bad form becomes too much of a problem. Plus if he sees himself as the no. 10 I would prefer to play Rogic in there or Armstrong (potentially Allen).

 

Right now how he performs he is useless. I hope we sign a really quality CM.

 

So how he performs based on one and a half games? He played fine against red imps and he was good last season

 

against part timers and at a time where no * played good he shined a bit thats good for him.

As I said he always gives bis everything I like him for that but tell me one game against decent opposition where he played really good. Or show me a clip where he won a tackle fs :smiley-laughing002:

I dont know what Johansen you were watching but he was far from good last season. Had a few average game's, other than that he was pretty bad throughout.

I didn't think he was good last season by any stretch of the imagination. He had an average season at best. I wouldn't be too disappointed to see him leave. I don't think he has the mentality.
