Brown is injury prone and is noticeably past his best now. Bitton is coming off the back of a mediocre season so it's hard to say what he'll be like this season (though I do rate him highly and know the talent is there), and whilst Ajer, McGregor and Henderson can pull their weight from time to time there is an evident lack of experience among them. That rumour makes sense to me.

 

he was really good the first year and a half, was pish last season. Still a bit disappointed to see him go, there is a good player in him somewhere.

I feel we could get more than just £1-1.25 million for him. Yes he's got 1 year left and yes he's coming off a * season but we should be getting at least £2 million for him. Could end up being a revelation for someone with a fresh start. Anyways, likable guy off the pitch and hope he does well.

I mentioned in another thread I'm panicking about lack of new faces. Last thing we need to do is start selling potential first team players for buttons

 

I thought he was * before his good season and i thought he was * after his good season so it looks like hes * and had one good season

 

Thought he would suit Rodgers style to be honest, very high pressing and in the oppositions face. Sure Rodgers has a plan but.

 

Suits the pressing aspect of Rodgers game but not the passing aspect. His passing has been so poor this past season

 

Strange decision, from the outside looking in anyway.

I can only assume Rodgers doesn't fancy him....probably his attitude/desire.

 

Interestingly not for Norway though. He was the man who kept attempting the killer pass for us and it hindered his passing. Whether that was down to himself or because he was instructed to who knows though.

 

Yeah but before him and everybody else bar Tierney and Griffiths had a terrible season last season his passing was quality. Something obviously went seriously wrong behind the scenes last season.

There were so many simple passes that he got wrong though. Those are the ones that bothered me. It reminded me of Donati. Although Johansen doesn't have that 60 yard diagonal that Donati had :smiley-laughing002:
