Fair enough but that's my opinion.

Opinions can change, but I'm sure you know that already.

Would like to see him punted and then the funds given back to BR to reinvest in the team with a player of his choice.

    Agreed.

I like Johansen but he seems like a player who hasn't figured out how to get the best out of himself. Sometimes he tried to be a hardman, sometimes he tries to be a playmaker.

He's neither. He's at his best when he keeps his passing simple, presses opponents high up and makes runs in behind.

He started to believe in his own hype a bit too much in the end up.

Also I lost count of the amount of times he would give away stupid pointless fouls in daft areas by clipping players heels or just running into the back of them.

but aye, tried to be things he is not.

It is a tough call for me. He was brilliant 2 seasons ago and then the total opposite last season. But if he is stalling on a new contract and he only has a year left to run on the current one then selling him this summer does make sense. If Galatasary have indeed offered 3m thats probably worth accepting given we could lose him for next to nothing as early as next January.

thought people calling him out on twitter etc was bang out of order but he was pish last year , would take anything over 1.5 considering the contract situation

Going to have to leave this one upto the manager to call, if he can coax him back into perfoming well and scoring goals again then its all goood

Not surprised Rodgers rates him. Anyone should be able to see that he suits his style down to the ground.

Good, hopeful that in a Rodgers midfield 3 he shines.
He is too dogged and aggressive I think to work in a midfield 2, not enough discipline and commitment to controlling the game and falling back to cover.
With a 3, he can have more license to do his thing while one stays back and the other compliments them both.

Rodgers has spoken about the way he likes a midfield 3 to operate and he fits it to a tee.
