    GALATASARAY are lining up a summer swoop for Stefan Johansen.

    The Turkish giants have placed the £3million-rated Celtic midfielder, below, on a list of targets.

    Johansen is out of contract next summer and talks over a new deal have stalled.

    SunSport understands no progress has been made on that front and Celtic could now cash in for the right offer.

    There is also strong interest in new Norway captain Johansen, 25, from several German Bundesliga teams.

    But Gala boss Jan Olde Riekerink is aware of the midfielder’s situation and could test Celtic’s resolve in the coming weeks

    Can't see us getting £3 million when he's available to sign a pre-contract in 6 months but we should absolutely sell if Brendan doesn't see him being a first team player.

    I'd take £3 million this summer instantly. Has been at the best average since his POTY season. I'd rather have that money to spend elsewhere and have 1 less midfielder to have waste away on the bench.

    Johansen for sure we know though won't be taking us to any next level so if we receive a bid of about £3M we should snap their hand off.

    I wouldn't be against him staying if Rodgers could get him to replicate his first season form but at the same time, if we could get 5 million for him that would be excellent business and money to put towards a DM.
