I'd heard that he was carrying a back injury in the early part of the season, no idea if it's true but that can really affect a player like Johansen.

I think he's good in the attacking midfield role when he has two guys minding the shop behind him. He's limited in terms of creativity, but he presses from the front and he often got beyond the striker well.

    We need THAT Johansen back.

I pray to * him n Bitton can find the sort of top form they were on last year. Player of the year doesnt turn into a bad player hes just suffering from bad form similar to commons second season at celtic. Hopefully he turns it around with a goals against the huns like commons

It was more of a mistake from the Finnish keeper. Defender passed it back, he took a gargantuan touch which allowed Johansen to put it in. Still, it was good work to pressure.

He seemed pretty relaxed and comfortable in the post-match studio at least.

He's a good player on form.

People are kidding themselves saying otherwise. Seems to be an easy target for many, even harking back to last season when he wasn't even playing badly.

No doubt about it he is a quality player when at his best and some of his recent performances suggest he is getting back to his dynamic high energy best. Hopefully he can have a big influence in the run now for us. For me I love how hard working he is for the team. When he is on form he seems to have limitless energy to close the opposition down.

He played all his best football for us at CAM, never gets played there anymore and we wonder why he's off the boil.

What a time for him to rediscover some form. He has actually played decently enough defensively since the turn of the year but his wee flicks and lay offs when he took up the number ten role was excellent.

Just in time to do some hunskelping.

Looks like he's finally getting back to what he can be. Delighted.

Much, MUCH better from Stefan today, looks like the player he once was at the start of his career here.

As said above, couldn't have came at a better time.

I thought he was excellent, showed all the qualities that earned him POTY last season.

He was good today for the first time in ages.

His desire and energy was back, showed quality too on the ball which was missing. When Johansen keeps it simple he's a great player.

    Well played today Stef.

Would like to see him and Bitton in the 2, Rogic behind the striker midweek.

    Give Broony a wee rest.

I like Rogic, but Johannsen on form is the best player in that position by a mile.

The wee flick out to Roberts for the 3rd goal was cracking, but what I liked most about J-han's performance today was his energy, closed down the opposition as much as he possibly could, and got really involved in every single aspect of our attacking and defensive movements - as opposed to hiding, which I think he has done far too often this season.

    Good on ye Stef!
