In addition to his quality on the ball today I was impressed with the sharpness he displayed when pressing the opposition.

Great performance from him today.

 

Solid debut, would like to see him get forward a bit more and play some killer passes, but overall I'm excited so see him over the coming weeks looks like Luka Modric with some of the same traits, more than adequate replacement for Ledley, on a much smaller wage.

 

Always wants the ball, got a great footballing brain on him.The deep lying playmaker that is so crucial for away European matches.

I was very impressed with him, like how he has confidence in his passing, always plays passes with good pace and he liked to pass forward through teams midfields into the strikers or wingers. Like someone above said he got about the park a lot and stuck into challanges, he also did get in the box a good few times or appeared at the edge, there was atleast 5 times he was clear to be cut back to by Mulgrew but every time Mulgrew never looked and just crossed it across the box.

 

Thought he had a superb game today.

 

hes a lot pacier than i was expecting as well, i was given the impression from a couple norway boys that he was about as fast as majstorovic
