Bang on. Seen it with previous players where they get picked out, like big Sammy. Johansen played well and created a few opportunities for team-mates.

The atmosphere at games and attitude of fans towards our team at present stinks. Folk booing at any occasion. A misplaced pass gets more reaction from the crowd than a good pass. Folk booing at halftime on Saturday as well. It seems that people would be happier or more satisfied if we get beat.

Been his biggest critic all year, boy hasnt kicked a ball all season, but saturday he got pass marks for me. He made a couple of poor decisions but he also played 2 or 3 killer FORWARD passes which the team seems to have forgotten how to do recently.

You say that as if there has been no catalyst for fans to be unhappy. Their attitude 'stinking' as you put it, has been brought on by the stinking attitude of the boardroom, management and players in my opinion. People who pay their hard-earned have every right to be displeased in a club that is underperforming in almost every aspect.

Of course the boos may be considered over the top, everyone has their own opinion on a game of football/individual's performance. Personally I didn't boo, but I wouldn't deride someone who did. The first half performance was again gutless.

Easily one of our best players.

    That's a sad indictment indeed.

Was arguing wae a * in my section on Saturday who screamed ya waste a space at johansen. 2 mins before that he put griff through on goal when he hit the post.

This is the same guy that thinks izzy is a good player and still rates forest.

I'm very aware of the reasons why people are unhappy.

However the persistent vitriol towards certain players like Johansen over a misplaced pass or missed tackle etc. It stinks. What's the benefit or plausible explanation for branding him a "Norwegian *" or a "useless *"?? Or similar abuse to other players for that matter?

Whether it should or not the constant negativity towards the players does the players no good.

Obviously some comments can be over the top. Again I would say though (in my opinion of course), his attitude this season has stank big time as well.

It's easy to say in retrospect that we should all be positive towards the players at it will get the best out of them. But many have taken the goodwill of supporters for granted when turning in one gutless performance after another.

Celtic is a passion of many that clearly evokes strong emotions in people. As said I didn't boo or make these comments, however irrational they may seem they're based on that individual's perception. Saturday's first half performance was dross across the board again, against a team they should have been chomping at the bit to get revenge against.

If someone reacts badly to what they perceive as a lack of application - even if it isn't an opinion I hold - that's their choice to do so as a paying supporter. I'll never slate anyone whose only crime is caring too much about Celtic.

Spoke to my old man there who was at the match Saturday , apparently there was applause/ironic cheering from a few sections when Johansen was subbed . Really poor showing from certain elements of our support. I'm not Stefan's biggest fan but he doesn't need that from his own supporters . Not good.

I could kind of hear the ironic clapping at my area.

    * embarrassing if true to be honest.

I can't remember any player getting this sort of treatment for a while.

There's a long list of whipping boys stretching way back to Agathe, in my own personal experience.

Sammy was probably the biggest consistently but Johansen and Armstrong both take dogs abuse off the Parkhead crowd. You are right, it is embarrasing. There's a difference between being * off with a player you don't rate and getting on their backs constantly and some can't seem to make that distinction.

I was at a match in December during Lenny's first season , * baltic it was , we were losing 1 -0 until Cha scored a couple of late goals iirc? I was at a couple of games that month but i believe this was the one Sammy got subbed and there was plenty of cheering/minor celebrating as he left the pitch , * disgrace it was , felt sorry for big Sammy you couldn't ask for a nicer guy .

I was at the game on Saturday and when he was subbed I stood up to applaud him because I thought he was one of our best players in the first half.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm sure the majority inside the stadium applauded his performance and not his substitution.

I thought he done well on Saturday.

He was in SPFL team of the week, deserved it I thought since he did play well and put a lot more pace in our game going forward when he got on the ball.
Yet other Celtic 'fans' just giving him abuse, people can't see beyond their tinted specs now and will just call Johansen * no matter how well he plays.
