There were no real standout performers in what was a fairly bland football match . Griff just got it for his goal.

    Youl never walk alone.
He's rank rotton, a decent performance against Ross County doesn't change that.

Created a lot of chances. Decision making poor a lot of the time though.

Played great first half and overall put GMS 1 on 1 twice and played Griffiths 1 on1, gets some amount of stick in the stadium but its clear he's one of our best players.

Then folk wonder why he lacks confidence. Both he and Armstrong take an absolute pounding from the home fans. Unbelievable.

Thought he was decent. You know what you're getting with him, he's always a mixed bag of high intensity pressing, energetic running, daft fouls and erratic passing just depends which of these outweighs the others on any given day. The abuse he gets from some of our "support" is beyond me.

These are all features of his play and none of them involve him dong anything good with the football. The kindest thing you can say about this guy is that he is energetic. Since when has that ever been enough ??

The kindest thing you can say is he's energetic, is being energetic better than creating chances with inch perfect passing?

He's not been the player he was last season but that doesn't make him *.

To be fair, I said his passing was erratic, which is true. He could have had a couple of assists today and at other times his use of the ball wasn't so good. Sure, I'd like every pass to be spot on but if that was the case he would be at a better team than us. Doesn't make him a * player or justify the abuse he gets.

He played wellish, put in a good shift as usualy, set up a few chances, caused a few breakaways but you can tell theres something still missing, I think hes lacking confidence, two times in the game one in the first half and one in the 2nd he had a chance to shoot from outside the box and delayed and made passes instead.

I watch every game and the worst feature of this man's play is his regular misplacing of passes.

Really what comes from his play though, he actually does set up a lot of chances with good final balls, he's just a player who goes for the final pass a lot from all different angles. Di Maria I always thought played similar like that where they have spells in games or entire games were all their passes go astray but they also have games where they set up a lot of chances or good games.

If he slowed down his style of play and didnt do as much running, chasing, breaking away he would probably be able to play more stable and safer but he's just that style of player that runs all day and tries to set up attacks quickly.

At worst he always puts in a good shift and probably difficult to play against even if his end product is missing, he should probably play in the hole all the time though rather than ever in the deeper position where he might find form like he did last season.

Why do we keep having to make excuses/reasonings for his shortcomings ? "always puts in a good shift " is all we ever hear and it will never be enough imo.

If you think Johansen is * and it's not just because he's in poor form you are utterly clueless. And the POTY and Norwegian POTY awards on his mantelpiece make a mockery of your opinion.

The guy does try his baws aff but if he's playing *, same as anyone else, he should be dropped. Especially with Allan, Rogic and Christie ready to step in or even just play another * striker instead!!!
