The irony is that if these reprobates ever met him they'd be trying to get selfies and autographs etc or would be quiet as a mouse. As Paul says, some proper riddy's kickin about our support.

Supporters have the right to criticise players, I don't particularly think hes a good player or brings anything to us. I think hes not good enough for us either plus I doubt he couldn't give a f*** about our Club.

It would be good if you could present a rational argument to counter my opinion rather than post an ad hominem.

See, I wish like everyone else that players would play for the badge week in week out but its hard to come by unless the squad is full of Celtic supporters or players who have fallen in love with us. Some players will think the name is bigger than the badge, some will channel their time here to use it as a means to get to the £PL, some know this will be the biggest Club they will get in their career and some are happy enough to take the salary.

Johansen is inferior and will use us to tip his toes down into England.

What about the player makes you think he does not give a * about our club....other than loss of form as that happens to everyone at some point.

He's been woeful this season but it's out of order to have a go at a Celtic player like that.

That said, those that run the social media need to have a word with themselves. The other day they put up the banners outside the stadium with 'H E L P' Health, Education, Learning, Poverty; whilst an ongoing feud between the board rages on between supporters and the boardroom, attempting to make us pay a living wage as standard and to remove a Tory peer who voted for tax credit cuts.

To then put up a massively under-performing player and give dafties a platform to criticise him is just ridiculous.

    *..

After a dodgy start. I can see the signs that he's getting closer. Still miss places a few but his tempo and play overall is improving. Those lung bursting runs with the ball straight through the heart of defence are creeping back..

I thought he was solid enough, again.

I noticed a number of good tackles to break up the play and was just a bit stupid not to release that ball earlier to Commons on the break.

    It's coming.

Needs Brown or Bitton in next to him but he was decent again tonight.
Still inconsistent throughout the game though, keeps * diving at players he's pressing as well so they just drop the shoulder have 20 yards of space in front of them.

As I said in the Non Media thread, I wouldn't sell for that.

I still rate him and don't see the point as we are unlikely to ever see that money again. He'd be an idiot to go there as well, they are dead certain to go down.

Would explain his form this year, if he has been wanting away and isn't interested in a new deal..

I agree 5 mill is too low considering he's not out of contract still for a while, is only what, 24/25? And is just off the back of Norwegian player of the year and player of the year here..

Aye, we paid £2million for him as well and once on form, he's actually been playing well again in recent weeks he is a key player with the pace and energy and right style for Ronny's team.

£5million would barely buy you anycunt nowadays in England. Not sure long he's got in his contract though if its up next season then we might take a bid of that, if not we should be looking for atleast £7million if not £8million which is still peanuts to English teams, they signs dafties from the Championship for less than that who aren't even experienced Internationals.

It's a tough one. Right now if he was to go, would we really miss him?

Rogic is coming into his own and already has 6 league goals, only 3 less than Johansen's league tally last season. Plus we have Allan who can play in the attacking midfield and holding role. Christie has just come in. And we have about another 3.

£5 million is a decent sum. Could get us Elyounoussi.

I think we would end up missing him.

He is one of few who can perform on a European level for us and is more at home in that CM position than any of the other 'number 10's we have.

Plus as I said elsewhere, he is used to Deila's style and is one of his students. Would be useful to keep him around the squad.

I'd also not be selling anyone right now other than players who we could really do without. Need a steady squad going into the qualifiers.

I can't see Ronny wanting him to go.

Problem with Rogic and Allan is that they don't really have the pace and energy to put a good shift in, in Europe - they are also really inexperienced players, domestically they can rely on skill and ability alone but we need players like Johansen for bigger games in Europe where he has a lot of goals and assists probably about a dozen in the 2 seasons he's been here.

Would be like letting Samaras go because we have McGregor and Mackay-Steven.

I don't really know about 5 million. He's still a good player, altough he's been mostly poor this season
