He looked delighted with the win when the final whistle blew. Threw his arms up in celebration. Fair play to the guy, certainly looked as if he gave a *

I think Johansen's breaking up play is an understated quality. I remember after the Motherwell game thinking he might come back because we were missing his type of energy and he did play not bad against Hearts.

Maybe he's getting played so much because Ronny believes he is the best person for this role. I don't know what he's going to do when Brown comes back. He'll probably be tried out in his POTY position. I reckon Deila might see him as a future captain.

He's energetic and decent at breaking up the play at SPL level. The reason being he has excellent work rate, is quick, and is maybe the fittest player in the league.

The problem arises when we meet anyone that is half decent moving the ball. He presses with no intelligence whatsoever and is so easy to cut through, meaning he is an absolute liability at defensive midfield.

I want to like him at attacking midfield but he can't really pass the ball well despite having good vision. The lack of creativity in our team is summed up nicely with the fact that his best attributes are his work rate and pressing whilst playing in the number 10 position. But at the same time I like when he and Griffiths press really high up the park to pressurise the defence.

So inconclusion I can't make up my mind on him at all which is a very * strange position to be in considering he's been here for 2 years.

Absolutely agree. He is excellent at breaking up play...

:smiley-laughing002: When he starts tackling our own players I think Ronny might drop him. In fact I think Broony might drop him.

Should try playing him on the wing, we've tried everyone else so why not.

Personally would prefer him on the inside. As much as he's been pish, for last season's performances he deserves a seat on the plane for his one-way ticket back to Norway.

He's played well the last couple of games. The last game especially.

People that know nothing about football wont see that though because he is playing playing further back and therefore not contributing to goals and assists as much.

Long may it continue. And lets get broony back so we can move him further forward and see if he can start influencing games like he did last season.

what I will say though is that Stefan, like Ronny, he took a while to get going last season and this season. This just can't be a feature of their talents.

We need to get off to a flyer next season.

How long is this going to go on?
