So after a year and a half of being one of our best players, he hits 3 months of bad form at a time when he is carrying an injury and mostly playing out of position and you- knowing absolutely nothing about the circumstances behind his loss of form- automatically draw the conclusion that he is an "arrogant, bloated, self-consumed caricature of himself" who is living on past glories?

Do you think you have enough information to fairly draw that conclusion?

Personally I'd want to be fairly sure before accusing any Celtic player (let alone last year's POTY) of being what you called Johansen.

 

Stefan still a big part of things at our club, half way through the season, he can turn it around..o

You're issue is that Ronny was given the job because he's a "yes man" and "won't rock the boat".

Did Ronny hire himself? The people who in your eyes picked "an unproven manager" because he is a "yes man" will be picking the next guy.

Actually played no bad the day, won the ball back a good few times and sprung counter attacks although all them were eventually * up and amounted to nothing but cant blame Johansen much for that

 

I thought Johansen was one of the better players today. However I still think it's unbelievably clear that we lack a true defensive midfielder and it is even more apparent when Efe 'bombscare' Ambrose is on the pitch.

Hopefully he kicks on and keeps up the level of effort he showed today. His passing was better too.

 

I thought his passing was terrible, first half especially.

He was breaking up play and driving us forward though, much better than his recent form.

Don't know what game you boys were watching i thought he was garbage as per. He must have gave it away 5 times in the first half hour , i swear to * Christ he doesn't look before he passes . Chasing shadows alot of the time , him and Biton have little to no understanding .

If I had to rank our 5 midfielders that started by performance I'd probably go:
Rogic
Johansen
Mcgregor
Commons
Bitton
His passing is still sub par but he was trying to make things happen and was winning the ball high up the park. There were shades of the old Johansen in that perofrmance for sure.

 

Doesn't say a lot but I actually think McGregor was our best today. Tried to make things happen.
