He was carrying a back injury or something and had missed game's because of it but he's played Euro play offs for Norway, Europa and domestic game's since. Surely we can't keep up these excuses? Otherwise our physio's and coaching staff are being highly amateurish..

He's definitely not an average player who had a good spell last year but his form is unacceptable, and his petulance is getting beyond a joke..

Think it was Dev that mentioned his goal at McDiarmid last year.....he looks a far cry from a guy playing keepy uppies and vollying a belter in at that same venue. He actually played a lovely * but 1 or 2 passes here and there amongst well below par performances, whilst giving the ball away and hacking people, isn't enough to merit a start in the 2, or further forward..

 

:smiley-laughing002: Reading through this thread, i don't think we have made as many excuses for a player not performing as this man . He's tired, somethings going on in his private life, his back is bad , he's been playing for Norway , he's been told to hold back , he's been travelling too much , he needs an arm put round him .

About time this * started earning his wage , keep an eye out tonight to see if the 6 month " form dip " finally subsides.

 

Useless this season. If he doesn't get the finger out in the second half of the season we should get rid.

 

Cash in while we can I'd say. He possesses great effort and stamina but he's do incredibly one footed I think people know how to play him now.

 

He just gives the ball away non stop .

 

It's no coincidence that team's are cutting through us now that Johansen is woefully off form and not chasing everything down from that attacking midfield position. Him and Broony just behind with Bitton, gave us so much energy and protection when being countered..

Now he's not trusted to play that role, so is dropped further back where his influence in both directions, is non existent. He's not chasing anything, not finding his range. (his passing is worse than ever) and is pretty much anonymous during game's when we need him to either make something happen or hold a position (which he's not). The customary foul and yellow again at Tynecastle which was just daft and sums his season up..

His passing is guff too.

 

He's horrendous in that deep midfield position . Gets caught wrong side of the play all the time leaving the centre backs horribly exposed. Games are quite literally passing him by.


Also he is starting to look like a wee bit of a smackhead .

 

Would punt him in January. Get 3-4 million for him and Scott Allan can take his place in the team until Brown is back

 

His form has just fallen off a cliff compared to his performances last season when he was unplayable.

 

It's no a modeling shoot. As long as he's doing the business on the park, that's all that matters, but he's not.... Nowhere near it. How Ronny is playing blind to this is really strange..

In all seriousness, what the * happened to him? He's been sleeping all season, only waking up to kick someone/get a booking.

Why Johansen, why?

 

He mkight return for form if he gets a game in attacking midfield again, after all its where he was best last season, seems like hes not played there for months.

 

He is extremely overrated

 

Granted yes he was obviously excellent last season, His drastic change in form this season is very strange.
