Looks like a true box to box midfielder. Came very deep looking for the ball. He's got that good player FIFA and PES look to him :)

Disappointed jn that long pass, though. That's supposed to be his thing :)

He is Ledley's clone by the look of that video.

Let's hope not. Nothing against Ledley, I just hoped for something different, something more attack minded and with a bit of flair.

Looked like he was gonna fit in vedy comfortably. Was very pleased with the way his touch and movement looked, just seemed like he may have that extra bit of quality, could be totally wrong but that's my first impression.

His long passing in the U20 game was phenomenal. Looks a real find.

Maybe going off last night's performance but I think they're too very different players. I was surprised at how deep he sat actually. I was expecting him to be more of a number 10 but he seems to play that "quarter-back" position that Pirlo plays.

Yeah I agree, I thought from what the reports said before we signed him that he was more of a box to box attacking midfielder who would sit further up the pitch.

Its hard to judge from a 2 min video, but from the video he looked like Ledley to me.

    Hope he's not though :50:

I've seen this guy play alot, and i'm not going to lie i think he will end up being a big player for us, he is so similar to modric going forward. His vision in the final 3rd is great and he has the ability and potential to be a world class player. I think after a few games we will all see what he is capable of. I can see this being another signing that we hold on to for 2 years if we are luck then selling him for mega buck. Delighted with this transfer :celt_2:.

He'll be a crackin player for us, 10mins on the park was enuf to tell me. Demanding the ball in deep positions and always on the move . He will help build attacks - with a bit of purpose ! Somethin we don't get from the rest of the midfielders. Looks like he move quickly up the park too. Watch himmake a big impact. We should now be striving to get a no.10 in too that plays always in the opposition half. Do that and it could be the making of the team

Pretty much every post I've made in the last few weeks has been geared around this point: it's an attacking-mid with vision and a good pass that we need; not another striker.

I thought he had a great performance for us again against Killie. :50: Looks to be another great scouting choice by Park & Co....

Noticed he was pinging the ball about with both feet last night. Encouraging early signs.

Why are people surprised that he was fairly deep? Where has this attacking midfielder myth come from? As soon as we were linked with him my auld man told me he was a central midfielder with a decent pass on him, extremely fit and willing to do the dirty work. Which sounds a lot like a Welsh lad we have. On a side note, as he sounds a lot like Ledley's replacement, do you think he is?

His highlights from the U-20 game against St Johnstone. He looks very tidy on the ball, a couple of cracking passes.

Fridjonsson also looked quite good, decent hold up play and touch.

I can really see the Modric comparison there.

Why does it look like at every chance they are trying to give him the ball all the time and he gives them it back for them to make a moveakes me think they where told to try bring him
    Into the game

His movement is brilliant he looks like a player who doesn't hold on to the ball wants to play football and go foward.. Incredible eye for a pass and looked a bit like paddy there which his run foward
