    Awful :56:

World class assist for Griffiths and a world class corner on a sixpence for Bitton.

One of few ready made Champions League quality players in our squad.

Behave yourself. He makes a tonne of mistakes. The opposition doesn't intercept Johansen, he passes it right to their feet.

At his best he is unplayable.

I like him but he's overrated to * on here. It's been said before but he isn't a playmaker.

Without him we don't score 2 of our 3 goals. Pure and simple.

Aye, but we keep a lot more possession and maybe we don't concede two. Not blaming him for the goals. But like that, your argument is based on ifs and buts.

No my argument is based on facts, he created 2 goals.

There are no ifs and buts other than the * you're talking about losing possession when he had zero input into losing either goal.

If he wasn't playing you have no idea how the game would of gone :smiley-laughing002:

You are talking about 2 assists in one game, I'm taking about mistakes he makes in every game.

I never quite understand some of the criticism he receives.

His ability and commitment are outstanding.

Mistakes or failed attempts at creating things, there is a massive difference.

Give me an example of him costing us and I'll agree with you. The facts are he doesn't. He is a quality player with a licence to try things, which he does to devestating effect regularly.

It's not the difficult passes he gives away, it's the easy ones. That's not trying things, that's sloppy.

    I'm not denying his ability.

Him griff and Armstrong are the reason were ahead in this tie and still have a good chance of qualifying.

He got 2 assists in the champions league , can't expect much more of him than that for 90 minutes work.

He was quiet enough today, like Griffiths, but both got the job done.

He hasnt started this season as well as we know he can play, similar to last season. (Although that was mostly due to him playing as part of a midfield 2, which he should never do in Europe)

It can only be a good thing that even at his worst he is still getting us results?

    Henrik Larsson (obvious choice ehh?)
Some old duffer on the bus was shouting he's absolutely * - get Mulgrew on.

Ehh? He was quite good, one of the better players. Some of the * you hear at times. :smiley-laughing002:

He doesn't really give away any easy passes though. Like Paul said he's playing I a position where he has more of a license to attempt riskier paases and create things and he's bound to give away possession. Only the top, top attacking midfielders don't really. His pass for the first goal was also absolute quality.

How many goalpoints has he got now?
It'll be 30+ by the end of the season.

Apart from the two assists I thought he looked pretty subdued at times. Wasn't playing his normal game of high tempo pressing at all.

Thought he was poor also, nice pass for Griff, but his play in midfield was very sloppy.

I would've honestly went for Commons in his place, but in the return I guess we need to hope his energy will bring out a performance as Kris doesn't have that to his game, but has way more guile and better in front of goal (Stef still continues to be awful when through in goal).

Strange some of you always critisize Johansen regardless how he plays. You obviously don't notice all the work he does. The guys in the studio at the channel I watched had him as one of Celtic's best. Seems like some of you aren't satisfied with him if he doesn't score at least 2 goals every game. Bitton and Brown had a lot more bad passes than him this game, but they will never get the same critisism as Johansen gets every game.:87:

Not happy with that play-acting at the end. Unnecessary. It may have been that incident that brought about a distraction to the team for the last goal.
