I rate him, would take him on loan. Hes not really a ‘hard man’ defensive midfielder though, he can break up play but he’s more of a reader/interceptor than a physical player.

I did not watch at the time Scheidt played, but i can only imagine the hilarity and media coverage of his name lol

    Correct.

I've watched his videos, but he's not a softie either, strong tackler and good reader/interceptor as you say, with the pace to match. A hard man in a Celtic jersey would pick up a lot of yellows and some reds here from the MIB, look at Brown and Robson's Celtic career.

Maybe the Celtic Board have finally realised the urgency for succession planning after McGregor.

I think the links are credible here but it could be the same as Orjasaeter, Kvistgaarden, Broem etc where we made an enquiry and then walked away with the figures quoted. According to the sources, Liverpool are open to selling him this season permanently so they might want some form of guarantee. I'd say the fee will probably be in excess of £10m so that will no doubt frighten us off even though he's completely affordable for us.

He's got a bit of size about him and seems to have excellent feet.

    Who's leaving though? We have

    *Hatate
    *Nygren
    *McGregor
    Engels
    Bernardo
    McCowan

the last 3 are all fairly new to the club so wont be sold. I would 100% take Bajcetic over any of the last 3 but we need to get rid of 1.

Would not surprise me if Hatate is about to be sold.

More likely Nygren would be pushed to the right wing or used across a number of positions.

We need depth. The midfield wouldn't hurt from having another in there.

He's nothing like Hatate in style so that wouldn't make sense anyway.

If it’s a loan to buy then you’d imagine hes coming in as Mcgregors understudy. Play the odd game here and there, think Mcgregor might start getting subbed a good bit more this season. Then gradually play more next season etc

Yeah pushing Nygren forward to his natural position would make sense.

What is his natural position? He’s looked very composed and agile in the small bits I’ve watched of pre-season.

Exactly the bench has been an embarrassment at times last season. First team is thin, back up is thinner

Aye he looks very "natural" centrally.

Regardless I think this is bollocks.

That page it's stemmed from the LFC one has put fake quotes up from Isak about signing for Liverpool.

    No other sources reporting it.

It would be sensational but I don’t see it.

He’s constantly on Real Madrid’s radar, they will be waiting to see how he progresses.

He looked quality at Liverpool 2/3 year ago whenever it was, stick thin and lightweight but really nice on the ball. Think he done his knee and never seen him since, would take him though on loan as a back-up to McGregor.

Think the days are gone where hard men midfielders make it to the very top.

still can’t believe Bajcetic is only 20, seems to have been around for ages and looked absolutely class when he made his liverpool appearances early on. If he can stay injury free this would be an incredible signing
