Not impressed so far misses far too many easy chances

 

It's about getting yourself involved. Unless it's on a plate Scep is a pure disappointment. I've been willing to let him have a few more weeks since he did get two world class howitzers of goals in consecutive games but mon to * he is a lump of wood. The warning signs were there when he knocked us back for Getafe.
He missed from 5 yards (maybe less).
See all this getting into positions patter as well it's complete * what's the point in being in these positions if you're going to fluff it everytime.
Griffiths came on and within 5 mins scored and had a great opertunity that the goalie done * amazing to keep it by throwing himself at it.

 

Needs too many chances for me which just won't happen in Europe.

 

Should have put the one early in the second half into the back of the net

My thoughts exactly...Griffiths is by far the better player.

 

Seen enough in flashes to see he has ability to do the job for us. Well in my opinion anyway.

Could do with a run of games mind you but by the same token Guidetti is doing the job and rightly keeping him out the team.

 

So far he's pish, but he does get himself in the right positions so Ive a feeling the goals will come in bucket loads soon

Never feel like he has that sharp burst to get his foot/head in front of the defender. I don't know whether he just isn't switched on or whether he just doesn't have that quick instinct.

I'm happy to keep the faith and give him time though. But Griffiths should be starting against Salzburg.

 

was poor. give him time. sometimes people need to settle in (like lustig)

 

Lustig came here after a full season

 

He's looked okay when he's had a partner up front, doesn't look suited to sole striker role.

 

Gets into some great positions which is half the battle. He just needs to * bury them.

 

He was poor yesterday. Hardly spotted him, though that could have been the fog.

 

Theres a player in there defo and may need more time to get it all going and understand the Deila way.
He better start making progress very quickly though as the Thumb is banging on the door.

I don't understand why he was dropped after our last europa game, he should be playing as much as possible, it's not fair throwing him in to the team and expecting him to play well when he's not been getting much game time.

 

Willing to stick my neck out and proclaim him pish.

 

Didn't really catch the 2nd half, but am I the only one that thought he was decent in the first?

 

I have no doubt theres a 20+ goals a season striker in him he will find his shooting boots soon enough. I blame tht * Guidetti for stealing the limelight
