i spoke with a guy working inside the ground the other day, he said celtic took on 18 members of staff to work over the summer, and the whole place is getting a touch of paint and cleaned up.

Dortmund have a completely different style of stadium to us so you can't really compare. The problem with Celtic Park is the location of corporate/hospitality which leaves very little options in terms of where you could change to standing. The Jock Stein lower would obviously be the best option, club and fans alike would agree on that, however it is simply not possible due to the hospitality at the back. Same with the North stand. Lisbon Lions wouldn't be an option due to away allocation for sevco. Upper tier would be too expensive as larger changes would have to be made. Even the JS/North lower corner has complications as the club knocked down the wall at the back a few seasons ago to put in a new disabled section.

That's my season ticket for this arrived this today. Can't wait to hit out with all the hilarious "sit down!" jokes at the game next Wednesday.

Aye it says on the letter they sent through with the ticket that seating in European matches is compulsory, although I don't really know how strictly it'll be enforced given its a new situation for everyone. I think the seats are locked up for league games however I doubt they'll be able to lock them down as such which is the only way to force people to sit.

They won't lock them in place, they will be like normal seats, can put them up or down. But will just be like our old section will all be standing as usual.

The seats will move up and down when unlocked it would be up to the fan wether they choose to sit or remain standing just like it is with normal seats
