    Old Schalke's Parkstadion was great and a strange stadium as it lied mostly under ground. Seen Germany vs The Netherlands there.

    was there in february it fantastic and the tours class ( get to stand on hitlers balcony )

    Its a bit like hampden ( dug into the ground ) but a million times better

    Yeah, those stadiums and a few others will require temp seating to bring them up to the minimum requirements. CFL and MLS just don't get high enough attendances to justify huge stadiums. A lot of the stadiums in the bid will be just meeting the minimum requirements which is just one of the many reasons why I don't think this will be successful bid.

    They're only talking about raising it by 8k, meaning around 30k stadium? No problem. Americans are savvy at selling. They could make the SPL into an A League. :56:

    This is the new stadium of KAA Gent and I think it is amazing (it looks brilliant, it is good for atmosphere and the facilities are great). It has been a while since we had a new stadium in Belgium.

    I was in the away end when we played them in 2004, they beat us 2-0!

    Brilliant fans, were singing Celtic,Celtic,Celtic! At the end of the game! They even set up a celtic supporters club after that game which they still have the champions celtic flag flying behind the left goal when your watching on the tele!

    It seemed to be more an older support they have!
