Needs an entrance for team coaches and bigger changing rooms as far as I'm aware.

Could be right, is the main stand not a listed building aswell? As far as just increasing the capacity is concerned could we not just build an extra tier on the south east and south west, pretty sure United did something similar about 10 years back

I'm sure they could work round the listed bit the old school was listed and the council helped us there, even if we increased it a little but put in the correct facilities then that would improve the ground whilst not have seats lying empty most weeks.

  4. Hope it's true and something comes along with it along with new hotel museum and dome and upgrade at Lennoxtown

Front of building is only 30 year old a and the stand is about 45 years old so its not listed.

  8. The facade is actually built round the original Archibald leitch facade don't think it is listed though as you say the roof and seats were added in late seventies

Stadium will most probably be developed in the future, cant see it at the minute though.would be amazing to have a stadium 75k plus, imagine the atmosphere for Sevco games,European nights then imagine mid week against Hamilton, half empty.Like I said stadium will be increased if/when we play in a European League/England.

Do we really need more seats 90% of home games?

Yeah for season tickets most folk buy the season tickets but dont show up for the likes of hamilton etc, i think standing area in the jock stein corner would be good also if they up the capacity i will defo get a season tivket as i dont work weekends anymore

As opposed to the 90% of away games we will use it for?

Anyone know what season ticket sales were during diela seasons? Not attendance but actual sales?
Also reckon if we i increased capacity and then turned the south stand in to general sale and family tickets and away support? Then why not turn the whole of the jock stein in to standing!? Just like dortmund. The atmospher would be unreal and imagine that stand would sell out every single game.

I have no doubt it's to accomodation the waiting list on season tickets also 10 thousand extra seats against the huns two times a season and 3 group stage along with full capacity opening game and title party games along with high capacity games against aberdeen and hearts would rake it in

Not entirely true we only sell 52-53,000 ST's atm. Most of the empty seats vs hamilton are because the remaining thousands of seats aren't being bought because no-ones interested in the lesser games.

And to Tony stark, the standing sections going well but in the lesser games its hard enough getting all of the top half of the section involved in the choreography never mind a whole stand. That will take time i'd imagine

  16. Theirs always one pessimistic ts a great idea at the minute theirs not enough for the waiting list and general sale so it will have to be done if the good times are still rolling

There is a possibility that expansion might be for reasons completely outwith season tickets, this is listed as one of the benefits of the new hybrid pitch we are getting:
"faster recovery of reinforced natural grass mat can be covered for non-sport events"
We know the board are looking at alternative revenue streams, this might be what they are interested in.

To be even considered for a CL or EL final Celtic Park has to be a full view stadium and the pillars that are currently there blcok views fro supporters.
    These need to be removed.
Capacity should be increased above main stand.
Widening access for team buses plus better facilities for the corporate clients.
All these need to be taken into consideration when redevelopment plans are being though of.
