If there was an extension to be done before the 4 in a row, it be announced by now.

I think they'll consider it before the commonwealth games though, luvly EU grants be flying about!

definetly should be an extension considering it used to be 70 odd thousand before the redevelopment took place when Fergus took over

We'd still have a higher average attendance per season straight away. That would allow us to attract more quality players which in turn will fill more seats on average

By doing well in the UCL, which we have been doing recently, so if that continues the balance sheet will always be good.

Just because attendances aren't full for league games, doesnt mean that empty seats havent been paid for. Season book holders dont/can't attend every game.

Who cares what it looks like. 20,000 at one of our league cup matches is better than most clubs get for league matches.

No but its not a good enough reason against an expansion.

Lower ticket prices for the first 1-5 years so that gate receipts is the same as it is before the expansion but more likely to attract fuller attendances even for lowly cup ties, everyone is a winner.

the demand for season tickets would go down, it'll be easier to get tickets for the big games so people won't bother with season tickets - meaning lower attendances against stmirren etc.

People would want a regular good seat and season books work out cheaper if you plan to see most of the games plus you get preference on European matches. I dont see demand for books going down at all.

People will buy the books and choose wether to attend or not.

you saying you don't think that oldfirm games guaranteed and european games guaranteed dosn't give an insentive to buy a book?

No, the opposite, people will buy the books, demand will not drop because of that fact. What did I say to the contrary? :97:

i'm pretty sure oldfirm games and european games are part of the reason people have season tickets tbh.
