I never said the stats for scotland were wrong,i said you were wrong to compare it to the ones from england as they had not recorded all their care home deaths.

Why’s Aberdeens game called off the day before it? If they knew it wasn’t going ahead then they shoulda said so last week. Feels like if the Boli scandal didn’t happen if woulda went ahead.

The stats I used were from when they started counting deaths both sides of the border, no matter how you or she spins it they condemned older people to death. She is a fly sleekit wee * of a person.

Not directly at you Gyp but just commenting on the last message in this conversation.

At the time, the Scottish government guidance said: "It is not advised that residents in long-term care are admitted to hospital for ongoing management but are managed within their current setting."

This guidance is no longer available on the government website.

The Scottish government said "it has never been advised" that care home residents should not be transferred to hospital "when it is clinically assessed to be in their best interests".

This was taken from an article referencing a Disclosure episode on the Scotland Care home Scandal, it's on iplayer.

I think Alex Dyer always comes across well. He doesn’t hold any biases.

I remember hearing him speak about BLM as one of the few black managers in UK and he was very frank and honest about it both in terms of you won’t change deep rooted bias’s regardless of the volume of education everyone else’s opinion and that ultimately it will be down to performance once you get the opportunity but getting the opportunity has been challenging.

As much as I ain’t her biggest fan I think the care homes situation falls at the feet of the U.K. Government from the beginning they stated care homes would not be affected. Folk had been getting released back into care homes without being tested for months to basically die. Not to mention the staff in the care homes didn’t have the accurate equipment medical supplies or even qualified to do so. Only nurses had permission and very few had been between care homes. From the programme I watched an old yin passed away because he was refused a test at hospital no medication or fkall and told to go back to the care home to isolate. Not all folk had been able to isolate in a small room due for dementia and other medical factors the care homes had been let down massively from the beginning.

So why was our care home deaths in Scotland more than across the border, * it was even more than the rate of people dying in hospital at one stage.

I’m no expert but I’m sure england had only started stating deaths from corona virus very late on as the patients had not been getting tested and returned to care homes.

They hadn’t been getting tested up here either that’s part of my argument, the numbers are there if you want to check.

I’ve checked them all Mate I watched the discolure scotland aswell as Panorama- the forgotten frontline. And it was very grim viewing if you haven’t watched the latter I’d recommend.

Yeah, and you clearly know your stuff. Probably wearing a muzzle when you typed out that BS.

Seriously, their draconian measures have been beyond ridiculous. They want this Vaccine forced apon the public but that aside, think of the Swinney scandalous masturbation education he introduced, the 'Hate Crime' Bill and the fact Nicola's adviser is part of the Clinton Organisation.

Good to see a full push back on the 'Hate Crime' Bill by even Elaine C Smith as well as Rowan Alexander etc. That is a massive attack on our freedom of speech.

I voted Indy and the SNP in their last 4/5 elections. We were truly duped.

Well you will know that 45% of deaths in Scotland have been in care homes, this is a national scandal and I’m glad it will be covered in the inquiry.

deaths from coronavirus in care homes are not being officially recorded or published. Once care home deaths are confirmed and the true death toll is determined, the numbers could be up to 15 percent higher.
Care England estimates that there have been nearly a thousand deaths already, yet deaths from coronavirus in care homes are not being officially recorded or published, social care is the neglected frontline.”
