If it was hard the tripod might have kept him on he's feet.

Just watching the game and it seems the 1 touch football is working fairly well. Always looking to move forward on the ground.

its a bad day when you've got supposed fans complaining about goal celebrations, you should be happy enough that they're scoring fs :smiley-laughing002:

I think it's a sign of a bad atmosphere in the dressing room.

I remember Hooper didn't always go daft when celebrating unless it was an important game. Stokes has never been much for celebrating anyway if I remember correctly?

Stokes goal was celebrated, by most of the team. * Lustig run about 60 yards to celebrate with him. He celebrated with his teammates, that's not a sign of the team not being together or a bad atmosphere.

Some players just don't celebrate and are very humble, Pukki especially. He just gives a wee smile and high fives the guy that set him up and gets back to playing.

McGregor Celebrated his goal I'm sure and Biton's goal (although he kinda looked like he had no idea what was going on) was celebrated by the whole team jumping on him etc.

Glad of the result but I see this match as nothing but a morale booster.

The first half was still tentative, slack passes and one shot on goal in half an hour.

The goals certainly relaxed the players and also took the wind out of St Johnstone.

Awful defending to allow Commons to superbly disposes and supply Stokes.

A light penalty, well taken by Biton.

To finish, a fortuitous goal, very well worked inside the box to get to the shooting position.

Scoreline very much flatters overall but much needed confidence boost. At the end of the day it's the result that history shows, not the performance.

A decent step up coming on Saturday, should be eased slightly being at home, although maybe added pressure being flag day.

Hopefully come Saturday afternoon we've had two good confidence boosting results and a more convincing performance going in to a vital Qualifier.

I think Dundee Utd will be a sterner test. No Gauld now but if we leave as much space for the counter as we did first half, I'd expect Dundee Utd to punish us with a couple of goals.

Nothing ever seems to come of these 'bad atmosphere in the dressing room' predictions :smiley-laughing002:

How many times did Lennon supposedly 'lose the dressing room' on his way to three in a row and the last 16 of the Champions League? Utter nonsense.

Some folk go to work and have greater things on their mind than the job at hand, still they remain professional and get on with it.

St Johnstone fan in peace. As I live away from Perth now, I am more of a general football fan with Saints closer to my heart than any other. Watching the game the other night I thought that Celtic bossed the 1st half without doing anything which surprised me. Clueless but dominant over a Saints team that were chasing shadows. The 2nd half was completely different and spoiled by a referee who was inept at best. Your bhoys won, and won comfortably in the end but you were not great value over the 90 minutes. Anderson was tackled from behind, more an assault, for your first goal. Mistake by Beaton. Our shout for a penalty was rightly waved away but the way your player went down for yours was an absolute disgrace and he should have been cautioned. Instead, as you know, our captain got sent off and you scored the pen. Even with 10 men we did ok but you got another after a mistake by Mannus who, unusually, did not have a great game. Incidentally you have a gem in McGregor and he is a star in the making. I can see him being a star at a big club in the future, probably in England. So, all in all, 3-0 flattered you a bit but that's football and no doubt you will improve and win the league again. Good luck in Europe by the way as you will need loads after the humiliation by a pretty average Legia Warsaw. Sorry to see Lennon leave by the way as I quite admired him.

Bit of a cheeky post that one, i'd hardly say you guys were robbed. The pen and red card was unfair but we were already 1 up at that point and Commons' tackle on your man was perfectly fine, as evidenced by no foul being given and no complaints whatsoever from your player.

We're all well aware of Celtic's limitations at the minute, our side is a poor shadow of the one even from 2 season ago. On St Johnstone, I don't think you got enough money for May - from what I saw last year he was a 1 man team and I think you only got 800k? Makes me depressed for Scottish football, although Dundee Utd got decent figures for their 2 youngsters.

They weren't robbed no, but I would agree that 3-0 flattered us a bit.

But aye, never a foul on Anderson, was a hard but fair tackle and Commons came in more from the side, Anderson seemed to try n throw his body into the tackle in an attempt to protect the ball but it was a good tackle.

Cheers for the good luck wishes anyway though Dunc, we'll fecking need it!
