Just read this and was wondering what the thoughts were from the rest of you guys.
Personally I dont think in the current climate of transfer fees we would let him go for less than £15mil. I mean some of the fees that have been thrown about so far are outrageous. Ie spurs getting £10mil + for Darren Bent.

No Chance !! Every player has his price and I am sure a silly amount would make them think BUT harry is one of THE tightest managers around and although he has said before he rates brown highly he wouldnt bid silly money for anyone so for a few reasons this isnt going to happen .

£7m? We paid what? £4.2m? His impact as a sub against Dynamo was outstanding and helped set up a next round clash with Arsenal. From ticket sales etc over these two legs, someone estimated we take in £3m. So that already makes him worth £7.2m to us.. Get to * 'Arry

Look how much spurs paid for Palacos and I dont think he is as good as Brown so surley it will take alot more than that

7 million... from the club that paid 16 million for darren bent, 9 million for alan hutton, 12 million for wilson palacios .....* off harry we are glasgow celtic scott brown is playing in front of 60,000 fans for a far bigger club in the big CL games ....he doesnt wanna move to a smaller club with * fans a * stadium just to play in the mighty EPL ....this EPL carrot winds me up smaller clubs getting to big for their boots ...leave us alone and look forward to mid table mediocraty .....our b team just played you off the park at wembley so dont come back with bids for our best player you dreamer :bbpd:

* off harry, cant see celtic letting him go anyway, we should be building the team around boruc brown caldwell mcdonald so why let the key player go, especially for 7million, at least 15million before it should even be given a second look

after seeing brown play his only 30 mins of comp football under TB, i thought that was the best he has played for us. im sure the board will know if he plays like tht for the full of the season he will b worth well more than 10 mill.
