    I've taken EE's free 6 month trial of Apple music. The interface is terrible. It looks very basic.

    However the music choice appears greater.

    The other issue is the sound quality of Spotify over Bluetooth is terrible. Even set at the highest settings it's not close to Apple's sound quality.

    You know how when you get to the end of a playlist it starts playing a 'radio station' linked to the playlist?

    I've just realised you can set this station up.

    In Your Library, click on Stations then in the box at the top 'Create a new station' just type in the name of one of your playlists and it will create a new 'radio station' with all similar songs.

    I'm probably slow on the uptake here but it's a * fantastic feature!

    The quality factor is something that's been annoying me for a while. On the extreme setting on my phone (Samsung S8) , the audio is very decent over Bluetooth, both car and to my Bose speaker.
    With the same settings on my girlfriends phone (IPhone 7) to the same devices the sound quality is terrible. Weirdly enough, it was just as bad with her IPhone 6.

    What device are you steaming from?

    It's a Galaxy S7 Edge I'm using. The sound quality is lacking connected to good quaity HiFi.

    The sound quality from Apple's streaming is far higher. I hate Apple too.

    I still stand by the fact their interface is terrible. I can't find playlists like elsewhere either.

    This is confusing me even more now. I should have said my previous two phones were HTC m7 + m8 and both had the same performance output as the S8. Due to experience with my gfs iPhone, I had this pegged as an apple issue - really weird.

    Don't want to partsonise you but was the streaming set at extreme quality?
    There's also a parametric EQ finally been added to the Android App which I just noticed there for the first time - this discovery has made my night hahaha thank you sir!

    Set to maximum on all fronts. I've also tried downloading rather than steaming. On the same devices the sound quality is notable better on Apple music.

    Spotify is also hungrier on the data usage front.

    I've never noticed the data thing before actually.to be fair if it's not over WiFi, it's downloaded.

    All the compilations they put together for you are brilliant. Spotify really have a great algorithm when it comes to choosing stuff you might like.
