How long does the current deal with Dafabet run for?..I realise the club need to bring in as much revenue from sponsorships as they can but it just sits wrong with me having gambling firms as sponsors for football (or any sports in general). A personal quibble maybe but it does annoy me.
Even on the telly at night every 2nd advert seems to be for some betting firm or online bingo.

What I dislike is the fact that we now have a sponsor on the back as well as the front of the shirt.
I know a lot of clubs have it.
But I honestly feel we will become like NASCAR/F1 vehicles completely plastered in adverts. -

The most likely replacement sponsor that isnt related to gambling would probably be an alcohol company. That feels just as bad if not worse if one is concerned about ethical sponsorship

Ethical sponsorship would be nice but fans won't be happy when we're offering to pay for transfers with broccoli, instead of money.

So they're going to continue to ruin good kit designs by slapping a big dafabet logo on the shirt for the next 7 years. Oh well at least we will get some decent money to sign some defenders...

The last deal was just over 2.5M per year basic with bonuses on qualification for CL with Dafabet, so more than that which is great. -

From what I recall is £2.75m per season and an additional £1.25m if we make the UCL I read somewhere.
Magners also pay us £1.25m a year to have their name on the back of the strip and their logo on all our training materials aswell as a bonus for UCL qualifcation
So maybe £3.5m now from Dafabet per season basic with some serious incentives for UCL groups qualificationMarie likes this. -
