According to transfermarkt their team is valued at €115.000.000, which comes to about £90m.

A lot of money is invested in that squad, also they didn't spare any cash to bring Emery, they paid a large fee for his compensation.

It's up past the 70 mark I'm sure mate. Mega bucks have been spent at Spartak (and the rest of the league for that matter),

Agree with you. What worried me was that it took the sending off before our lads decided "let's play the ball on the deck, keep possession and look for that opening!" if we done that then spartak would not of had the dominating spells they had in the first half and probably would not of scored. Although in fairness, Moscow is a tough place to go and play footie. I imagine Russian fans can be quite intimidating.

Overall yes, but the question was the starting line up, which was in the 45-50 range after a quick glance at the transfermarkt website.

I have to strongly disagree mate. I thought we looked dangerous everytime we attacked on the counter. Lustig and Izzy showed real class on both wings and it was a very classical European performance.

This is style you need to play to do well in Europe, especially if you are not Barca or Real, but if you watch most clubs that hold their own, Lyon being a perfect example over the years that is exactly how they play.

I honestly thought that was our best performance in years. Most people will go on about excellent defensive displays in Barcelona or Udinese but this was the first time we took the game by the balls and went for the win away since the game in Munich or Stuttgart years ago.

Really so proud of the bhoys. I have not stopped smiling since this match and I feel the good feeling will continue.

great time to be a supporter of the best club in Scotland.

I tell you what looking at those prices Kallstrom at 3m looks a good buy given how much experiece at the top level with Lyon and Sweden he has. Granted he has just turned 30 so no resale value most likely but I would say that is a good buy if you get 3 good years from him.

We've spend roughly £15-20M on our squad all in.
