I agree with bits of what both of use say,
for the first thing if ched evans would rather go to cardiff or sheffield utd let him go there dont want players who dont want to be here. I think hes got taletn and could play at a better level than cardiff or shefield utd also win something meaningful.
Say ched evans goes to one those two clubs gets to prem then go back down they wont stay their cardiffs team has bout 4 or 5 old firm rejects in their team gavin rae mcormick thompson( he may have gone), chris burke. None of these players came close to holding a place in rangers team. Plus we signed loovens rated one ur top players and he hasnt been a stand out behind the so called bombscares gary caldwell and steve mcmanus.
Also calling us the barca of scotland is a bit much half the time the team struggle to put few passes together never mind barca.

Here's where you imply I implied Crosas would single-handedly thrash Rangers. If that made sense. :icon_mrgreen:

I didn't say we play like Barcelona though. I said we're Scotland's equivalent of Barcelona.

Best team in the country, best footballing team. On course to be champions. Have the best players. Have the best stadium. Have the best fans. And the fact we're more than a club.

You see where I'm coming from?

yeah sorry man thought you meant the style of play. But i do agree with you that crosas deserves a run in the team no coincidence or best performances this season tend to be when he is playing he has vision, class, hardly wastes a pass and is very composed in possesion. If we can toughen him up a little he will be brilliant.

This deal depends on if Man City get a striker in Ie Santa Cruz , Still could go ahead ,

They've had a bid turned down for Santa Cruz, we'll see how high they're willing to go.

I still think this is more realistic than Fletcher if I'm honest and the one I'd rather see as well.

Just read that Blackburn have signed Diouf, hopefully paving the way for Santa Cruz to City and then paving the way for us to get Evans

I don't know how much it's influence this "transfer", but Manchester City is clearly the team in UK who is work hardest on "big transfers" this january, so I'm unsure how much time they will waste on Celtic negotiations over a squad-player a few days before the transferwindow close down.

well we've already signed Misun, Zaluska, and are in the process of signing Flood. Do you really think we'll sign ANOTHER player? I mean I hope so, but I'd like to see us get some players off of our payroll first.

    A good point, however, and I will be shot down for this, they are all squad players. This is what really angers certain circles of fans. It will be stated we have made signings but when you look at them it does not add up;

Flood: Back up player, looked good the other night but is unlikely to get a long run in the team.

Misun: A LB! great but he is nowhere near first team ready.

Zaluska: Not arriving until the summer and then will be in competition with Boruc.

There has not been one signing so far that will make an immediate impact on the team in areas we need. Coming back to Evans, I have not seen him but judging by the interest he is a hot prospect (there is that famous word, prospect) but yet again we want ever player on a shoestring. Mr Lawell may be serving us well but there will come a point whereby if you want something you bite the bullet and pay the price. If you don't like it, move on.

lets be honest the sensible posts have said you never know and you have to admit you dont. you can never have too many good players and yeah it would be nice to get a few out but look accross the city they are fecked and cant sign anyone because they cant sell at least we dont need to sell first

Was meant to be moving to either Cardiff or Celtic on loan before the windows shut, considering City are very close to completing the signing of Porter i'd imagine the doors wide open if GS wants to make the signing.
