He'll only leave now, because he's realised he can't get a game. He didn't know this when he had the option to sign. Evans is the exact same.

 

same old celtic, should have a deal for this guy wrapped up by now but we wait and wait til cardiff city come in hope we get him because hes going to be a smashing player as for people moaning about only playing a handful of games in the champions league, we're punching above our weight in the champions league and im happy enough just to be in it and WHEN we get our away form sorted we'll be in it longer if our away recored was as good as our home record.....we'd be champions:icon_mrgreen:

 

How can you be sure Evans doesn't know that?
Maybe he's looking at what we've got... and thinking players like Brown, Crosas, McGeady, and Maloney will all be here for a long time... not to mention Gordys' obsession with buying midfielders every transfer period.
Maybe he doesn't want to wait 2-3 years to get a chance at starting? Even if that means starting for a lesser club...

 

Am sure a few people would have said the same about Hull and Stoke a few years back.

 

I,m not too sure he,ll sign if his willingness to play week in and week out was anything like my * drive when i was his age he,ll be raring to go

 

None of these guys play upfront!? Evans is a striker, an area where we need improving. The boy has pace, something our stikeforce has not had for a while. If he had any sense there would be no doubt a move from Man City to Celtic is the right decision.

 

According to Skysports the lads going to Cardif , Excellent work once again by the board take a stone age to get the deal done and miss out ,

nope, thats not the end of story. They may well do with the addition of quality players

 

So evans cant look at other young players and think "that could be me, i will go with cardiff as i know i can do it in the championship"

 

indeed, 2 out of the last 3...make that out of the last 5 or 6 and its alot more. still, thats not the be all and end all that alot of fans think...if so we would be getting alot better quality players.

 

How do you know it is celtic holding it up? How do you know we are STILL SERIOUSLY looking at him? newspapers perhaps..

I am a realist...not a fan saying we are the barca of scotland and we will trash them with a certain line-up..
