BBJ should have a word in the lads ear, tell him how great it is to be idolised up here.

Btw: What a team Wales are gonna have in a few years time.

    good point mate.

I suspect John already has :50:

You can see the passion BBJ still has for the Hoops on Setanta :shamrock:

Don't rate him at all, seems like another Francis Jeffers to me - massively overated IMO

It's good that WGS could see the need to buy a striker. I thought we'd need to wait until summer.

Since leaving Everton, Francis Jeffers has scored 14 goals in 8 years for 7 clubs.

Ched Evans is only 20 and has scored 23 in 2 seasons if you include his International form.

    Can't see the comparison whatsoever.

The "Fox in the box" was ment to be the next big thing especially when he signed for Arsenal.
Theres stil plenty of time for Evens to prove me correct :icon_mrgreen:
Don't get me wrong by the way, i really want him to do well but i just can't see it happening.

The fox in the box was brutally terrible and still is.

This guy is big, fast, has 2 good feet and is part of a golden generation of Welsh football. I honestly didn't think we'd be able to get him but the fact Man City have money to spend means he won't be playing so it's all good :icon_mrgreen:

For 1million? I'll admit he COULD become a good buy, a class buy if he is groomed properly as im sure he isn't near the finished article. But if he doesn't i think at best he'll be a Craig Bellamy.
But thats the wonders of forums, all about opinions :)

Hope this happens. I've been impressed with what I've seen of him so far. I recall was it the start of this season or the latter part of last season Man City had a real striker shortage so we got to see a decent bit of Ched.

The guy looks class and £1mill would be a wonder signing for me

I remember him now coming on as sub in the Russia v Wales game last year. Wales were very unlucky in that game.

I hope this happens too but you have to ask yourself why does it seem like no one else is trying to snap him up?
A good young player for £1m - there would normally be a queue of teams looking to sign that.
