[Source] Ched Evans done deal?

Is it a done deal? Last I heard was on bbc;

BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Motherwell | Derby and Cardiff in Porter chase

That Derby were interested but had an offer rejected whereas Cardiff had a bid accepted and were speaking to the player.

 

i think ad rather have this lad than fletcher his price seems fairer and if he has bit of pace would be good, i feel fletchers developmen has somewhat stalled at hibs he has good ability but dont think he is a much of improvement on what we have

would really like us to get ched evans rather than fletcher, has more potential but i have a feeling that evans has snubbed us and thats why we are chasin fletcher! hope im wrong

I dont think we are getting Evans. Everything I have read leads me to think he wants to stay in the English system although I think CL and Celtic would do him a wonder. Poor misguided youth.

cardiff have signed owesu obeyu on loan till summer so doubt they will be stll in for evans mabi will be. I think we should really try get him at least on loan deal as believe he is a better player than fletcher

I was telling you what I heard on the radio about 5 minutes before I posted. Cardiff had a bid accepted but he rejected talks with them because he wants to move closer to home.

Get a grip ffs.

Edit: BTG, You completely misunderstood me. That's me just realised what your post means. When I said " he didn't talk to you " I meant Porter didn't talk to Cardiff.

I think you thought I was getting involved in one of your arguments on here, which wasn't the case. Easy misunderstanding I suppose.

According to reports the problem is hes not keen on the spl although thats a shame because like sami the point of a loan first agreement is he gets to see what its like first hand rather than listening to others . Maybe if scots stopped slagging our own league / game as much then maybe players would take us more seriously

 

I actually think Celtic are bluffin about Fletcher, and are trying to force the hand of other striking targets by making out we are about to buy Fletcher

could be a clever move !

 

Hope we get some quality instead of the usual * . Watching some of our football at CP is dire

 

I dont think that will affect evans decision. He wont really care.
