Don't lower ourselves to being overly disappointed. Even though nothing is concrete at all here.

Depends whether he fancies a swansong with the chance of some success, or to continue and prove himself in the English domestic game which i think he has already done. Though, i wonder how much financial difference there would be between Celtic and Sunderland with Celtic putting together a competitive package and Sunderland being EPL.

he was just referring to ambition to improve and build on where we were. He will be looking for same with every club but also someone who can match his wage demands.

Makes me wonder why he made a big deal of mentioning our intentions in europe as a factor,obviously he can talk to whoever he wants, just makes the comment seem a little silly IMO
