Im suprised at how much we're offering him if its true. Glad that we've finally offered him a deal though and heres hoping he accepts it ASAP. I wouldnt mind if he was the captain,he'd certainly bring the experience to not only the team but defence we need but i'd be tempted to keep broony as captain and see how he does under lennon as i think and hope that lenny will make him the player we all know he can be.

If I were Lenny i'd tell him far to go he's using us as a lever so Arsene offers him a two year deal he doesn't want to play for us if he did he would of signed on by now. For as much as I want him to sign as he'd be an excellent addition, I hope he doesn't sign now He dosen't want us so why should we want him we should go for players 100% commited to Celtic. Does anyone else feel the same or maybe its just me?

The guy is def interested.you can't fault him for looking at his options especially when 1 of his options is arsenal

I know where your coming from mate,as much as id like him to sign i am starting to think he has no intention of coming here and is just using us to force arsenals hand. IF he does sign, ill be worried that he'll walk out on us before the end of the year if things dont go his way.

Sometimes i get fed up with the whole "celtic are a big club and the old firm is worl famous" speech.

I can see both sides, Sol considering his options and us wanting to know.

I don't blame him for wanting to wait for Arsenal. He's 35, lives in London and Arsenal in a fOOtballing sense are a bigger club than Celtic.

If I was Lennon I would wait tOO long. I would be active trying to sign Ramis or that Swedish guy. If we got them or other and Sol turned round and said ok, then tuff, tOO late. If we haven't signed anyone and Sol says aye, then great.

if i was lennon as much as i would like campbell signed i would tell him where to go... how dare he mess us about at his age and stuff he was with notts county not so long enough and he is a good age now i suggest celtic now forget him and get someone who wants to come here and not mess us about especially a guy at his age.. he should jump at the chance to come here.. i can see why joe ledly and that would think about it and try n maybe hold out for a big club with big money but campbell... give me a break celtic should pull out now.. forget him.

i see where you're coming from, i reckon tho that he's more cautions after jumping into a silly deal with Notts County, this will be his last contract probably and he wants to make sure its the right one for himself financially and from a footballing perspective.

im glad lennon has given him a deadline, cause realistically, lennon times to appropriated spread the wages campbell would have been on to new signings, if he rejects the offer to come to celtic

that been said id love him here
