  1. He'd be a decent signing as he could probably do a job for a season or two. They need an experienced centre half like him. He'd be helpful in cl qualifying too.

I am amazed that people would want him at our club.Ok it might be good business and he might mentor the young lads but cop yourselves on. He is a traitor what he done to Spurs is unforgiveable. Club captain joins main rivals on a free. He is a journeyman who went to Notts Co for the cash. No thanks Judas

  3. i dont care about arsenal spurs or notts county, i want experience and quality :87:

True but it does show the true nature if his character

  5. Well put it this way...If you played for Rangers & supported Celtic would you not leave on a free?:97::rolleyes:

I would never play for rangers. I would accept him as a last resort. There has to be younger better players available that could do the same job. I would rather Mick tbh.

  7. young defenders are the last thing we need right now, big sols exactly what we need.

  8. this a joke? sol friggin campbell!:31:

I know what your saying but come on there has to be someone around 30 with exxperience that could do a better job. Transfer fee or not. I think we could get Davies at villa for 4million

  10. i don't see the manager spending the chunk of his budget on 1 player tbh.

  11. i think we should try get him get a few seasons out of him

  12. CANT B ANY WORSE THAN THE GUYS WE HAVE JUST NOW

I would take him. A good CB can play for years at a good level. Look at Weir for * sakes, he 40 and played almost every game this year. And Campbell is a well better player than that and we would be lucky to have him for a few years, even at 35

  13. Says on SSN he's " Flattered but doesnt want to leave Arsenal" He's not what we want, isn't reliable, Miller would rip a new * into him and he's to much of a clown

  14. He would be just what we need.

Big solid, no nonsense very experienced defender to bring through the youngsters playing next to him.

Who would you rather Sol Campbell or POTY David Weir?

SPL's dross Big Sol would walk it.

  15. "Manager Arsene Wenger is desperate to keep Campbell on the books because fellow central defender William Gallas is expected to depart soon as his contract has expired."

If this is the case then this is a pointless discussion because he wont come anywhere near Parkhead.

As long he took a wage cut I would have him here in a split second. The lack of pace thing is a non-starter he has been excellent for Arsenal since returning, even in the Champions League. We have a 19 year old playing at centre half just now that looks as if he is going backwards when he runs.
