Get him and bullard signed up asap and let's get the trophy back where it belongs!!

Bullard loan deal for an initial 6 months would be ideal, Campbell has looked solid this season, stick rounge in beside him.

Get him signed up!! :icon_mrgreen: Has massive amounts of experience and would instantly bring confidence to our defence, he's also great in the air which is what we have been missing. Only concern is his wages.

Like Sol Campbell would play for the shirt, we don’t need anymore players who are here just to pick up a wage and wind down there last couple of years of playing. Were not back to becoming a retirement home are we?

Even if he just got us through the qualifiers that would him already have proved his worth and would be great.

If he was a bit younger, I'd take him in a heartbeat, but he's just too old now to be splashing that sort of cash on one man's wages. Keane, for example, at the age of 30 would be worth paying those sort of wages, but not a man who's 35 with a history of bein' a moany wee wean when things don't go his way.

would be worth a punt.if he cut it in the premiership this season surely he would do a job for us.but if arsenal really want to keep him we've no chance.better than thompson anyway.him and rogne or hooiveld would be good from what we've saw of them and he's younger than davie weir who has done well for the huns in the last few seasons

Im undecided on him,he has great experience and would certainly help rogne and thompson but we probably couldnt afford his wages and his age is a bit of a concern aswell as if he didnt like it here he could do a runner like he did at notts county, just dont know if its worth the risk.

Well in that article he has not outright ruled himself out first of all. Also for those that maybe haven't seen arsenal in the second half of the season Campbell has been an absolute rock at the back and on a few occasions i saw good pace to get back for strikers that went in behind.

Cripple Weir is 40 and is nowhere near as good as campbell and campbell is 5 years younger. Apart from his moanyness id take him in a second, would tell Boyd and miller where the * ground is and to stay on it.

I think he's too old it only takes one injury for him and he could be done should be looking at a younger guy.

People who say he is too old are wrong, look at Weir for the huns, 40 and still the best defender in the spl by some distance. A good defender with good positional sense, yes the titantic turns quicker than him but if you have good positional sense it makes it very hard for the attacker to get a run at him, so you cant expose him lack of pace.

Just a few month ago he was playing at the very highest level in the CL, do you think Wenger, one of the best managers in the world would play Campbell if he wasn't up too scratch? Wenger still believes he can cut it in the CL so he would do a really good job in spl. If he have any chance of getting him I would do it in a heartbeat.
