Just heard on Talk Radio while listening to the World Cup that Sol is signing for us...they said more news at 5 o'clock.
They couldn't understand why Arsenal never offered him a 2yr deal.
Don't know if they're being a bit premature with that announcement trying to get a first scoop!

Im the exact same as alsy tbh. At first I wasnt too impressed with this news because I kind of felt he was maybe past it abit (the goal him and Fabianski * up for in Porto last year springs to me) but its grown on me now that he is actually a quality CB with bags of experience and him and Hooiveld would be rock solid at the back if this happens!:icon_mrgreen:

Lennon is taking a massive risk signing these type of players, if we lose the league to the unwashed again paying OAP's such as Campbell and Bullard on 40 or 50 grand a week there will be uproar. What I saw of Campbell last year, he looked slow and overweight so * only knows what he is going to be like next 2 years. Celtic FC should never be a retirement home for aged EPL players hoping to make a last few quid before they retire. If you add the wages of Campbell and Bullard together were talking about over 4m for one year, surely we would be better off buying a young international for 3ml and paying him 20grand a week instead. Madness
