Doubt we'll get him tbh. He'd rather stay at arsenal and go year by year I think.

 

Thing is campbells looking even further into the future past a 2/3 year deal. He wants a 2/3 year deal and then a guaranteed coaching spot at whoever he goes to. If he does want that kind of deal then celtic should give it to him.

 

Lets go after both Ramis and Campbell, that way if one of them backs off we still have a good CB coming here,

 

I think we should tell campbell he has untill pre-season begins to decide, and i think we should offer him the chance to be a coach at celtic after his playing days.

 

My big worry is his fitness, we could end up with another Bobo Balde situation but much more expensive. If he signs and stays fit every week up here we are laughing.

It will be a house in Newcastle im sure i read it somewhere other day but yeah somehting mush be happening with sol or he wouldnt buy a house in newcastle. if he was going to stay with arsenal he would buy a house a bit closer to london im guessing.

yeah but I think he'll stay at arsenal. He loves it there, he'll get offered a 1 year deal then take it year by year.
you hear from him "Celtic are a massive club" "it's an honour to be linked with celtic" "giving serious consideration to the celtic offer"

words like these, sound like he's interested but imo are just lines to show respect to the offer he was made.

Well if he's giving him a lift they must be going to the same place,even if it is in newcastle it still means them both heading up here.

 

Sol Campbell would be a massive signing for us. He would marshall our defence with his vast experience and footballing knowledge, and tutor our younger centre backs, and is capable of popping up with vital headed goals, and he would definitely make us harder to beat. I really hope this happens for us.

Our young defenders will learn a lot from mjallby, if sol Campbell signs he will be a figurehead in the heart of the defence who the next generation will aspire to. The guy is class, he would go through a brick wall.

With Thompson and Lennon as part of the management team, the players will come out fighting from that first whistle sounds, bring on next season!!
