    Cant see him signing to be honest, think its just a way to get his 2 year contract at arseanl, some up here hope wenger gets no cover in and offers him his longer deal!!

    Would like it to happen, decent player with plenty of experience:50:

    Think this is a done deal tbh. The way he's talked about the club it seems he really wants to come. If Ol' Man Weir can win the Player of the Year at 40, surely Campbell, 5 years younger, could handle the strikers of the SPL ?

    Im thinking the same way as you. I dont think he wouldnt join us but hes definetley wait for arsenal to make his mind up for him.

    Really hope they refuse to budge, just like they did when robert pires was in contract talk with them. I think they have a policy though if a player is over a certain age they only give one year contracts to them. hope that continues with Campbell.

    But he will be playing for CELTIC not notts county & the home
    ground & support are totally in a different sphere.

    but he might be injured:97: for a few of the less salubrious pitches.

    I honesly believe it was the difference in his own team ,from arsenal
    to notts that shook him up.
