even tho his wages wil b big, i think big sol wud do a great job with his international and european experience for the likes of thompson, rogne and misun. he cud forge a partnership with ramis (who we shud get b4 sum other mob nab him) for a season then kick about in the background for a while 2 help the promising youngsters of the future

We weren't 'promised' anything, a timeframe was requested and the answer was 'about 7 to 10 days', that was obviously an approximation and not a deadline.

The worth the wait comment has been taken out of context. I beleive that there was an air of positive expectation of NL being given the job when the comment was made at the meeting.

Quite frankly, i'm glad the board dont act in haste in order to soothe the sense of self-entitlement that many of our fans seem to have. The moment they give in to these fools that seem so eager to get their panties in a bunch over something or other then we'll be on the road to ruin. Some people just seem to need something to be upset about.

 

He should definately come to us instead of the rumoured interested clubs if arsenal can't offer what he wants. We have a lot to offer. He can probably get his two year contract, a route into coaching, still play in Europe and if he succeded here, be idolised by the supporters. That's a great opportunity for the guy even though our league isn't great and that he has already played at the highest levels in football. I will probably spew if he goes to newcastle or stoke or someone

 

Campbell should be the priority.

He was the fastest player in the EPL last season did you know? Faster than Drogba and Torres.

lol Campbell was no where near the fastest player in the EPL last year. If anything his pace has decreased a lot over the last few years.

I'd still love him here though. No doubt about it.

i never had campbell down as a fast player. I think hes the kind of player we need though .. be a massive coup for this club if we land him. Strong in the air, and not many players get past him. ALso brings the experience with him ... which would only benefit the younger lads at the back like rogne and thompson.
