Im pretty sure MoN played 3-5-2

 

I think 3-5-2 is a good shout with the amount of midfielders we'll have if all these deals go through, a back 3 of campbell rogne and hooiveld maybe?

 

I hope sol campbell is there at the start of the season.

 

Not keen on 3-5-2 because most of the teams in our league have there best player out wide (e.g Driver, Riordan, Aluko) and when playing 3-5-2 there isn't enough cover wide so I can see us leaking goals playing like that!

 

i prefer 3-5-2 tbh.

 

People like the sound of 3-5-2 because it sounds more attacking Mowbray played 4 strikers in many of his 1-0 defeats....

 

lets just cambell all but confirmed he will be at celtic this season ahead he sayed he is only waiting till lennons signs before so i exspect lennon to sign tomorrow and cambell bullard to sign by tuseday with lawrence on the friday or late weekend

I want Lennon appointed now. Only we could make such an * of making a care taker permenant! With the board * round as it is,we'll loose out on this signings. Lawell appoint the man ffs!

 

i quite like the idea of 3-5-2 as well, with the way teams in the spl pack the midfield, our extra quality would be too much for them to handle and it should also give the defence much better cover

 

3-5-2 are you crazy we would get * every game cambells gd but come on who could u even think about playing next to him my form would be 4-3-1-2 i think we would score plenty with that

 

O'Neill's 3-5-2 was brilliant.

We had the players then, mind you. Lennon, Petrov & Lambert were three players who would give 100%. Petrov's the best box to box midfielder that I've seen in Scotland in my lifetime. Lennon was an incredible sponge in front of the back 3, soaked up everything then played a simple pass to the more creative players in the team.

Thommo & Agathe were key players also. We don't have players like them any more.

 

quite like that formation too but it's just the lack of width that bothers me, we would need 2 really good over-lapping fullbacks, not convinced Hinkel is the answer but he's not a bad player

 

Hinkel's brilliant at overlapping, it's defensively I'm not 100% on him. He'd still be my #1 full back though, by miles.

 

wouldn't disagree really, just think his attacking play is quite inconcistent and so is his delivery and defensively he's not as good as he should be

 

Just home fae the pub.......saw Sol Campbell on SSN.....the volume was doon in the boozer so i don't know what it was all about. Anybody clock it?

 

just them sayin he's gonna wait till lennon is announced and then he'l make a decision i think its a done deal tbh but the only thing thats holdin it is the fact we have no official manager!
