I would like to pair him with St. Ledger or Ramis, and he would also be an excellent tutor to Rogne and maybe even josh shrek thompson could learn something

'I'm just waiting for Celtic to settle the situation with Neil,' the 35-year-old told the Scottish Sun.
'When we last spoke, he was waiting to see if he was getting the job. I'd have to make a trip to Glasgow and have a look around, see what's happening. I will keep my options open. I'm not going to rush into anything.'
Campbell, who is out of contract at Arsenal, has previously stated he would prefer to sign a new deal with the Gunners.
He added: 'I am happy to wait and give Neil a chance and I will show respect to Arsenal and Celtic.'

    Sorry if already posted.

Edit: it is. Sorry. doh !

Not that I don't rate Sean St Ledger. But I suppose PNE will be hard to deal with, and the money it would take to buy him could be used on other positions (left back, striker), when we have Hooiveld, Loovens, McManus, O'Dea and Rogne.

Yup looks like Lennon has some pull on which players and they all seem to be waiting to see if he gets the job ie - Sol, Bullard, Lawrence, Ledley. They are his choice of players and more than likley looking to see if he's going to get made manager first.

Also looks kinda like the board have been testing Lenny to see what kind of quality he would bring in and how he would spend his money before he gets the job, can imagine Lennon presenting it infront of the board that these targets he has lined up will more than likley sign if he becomes boss.

Good to actually see some activity early on and hopfully get a good pre-season behind us and be prepared for the qualifiers.

Does anyone else get the feeling that the players lenny wants to bring in are kind of the same as MON. I think Lennon may go for a 343 like MON.

I was just thinking that myself, Lenny seems extremely ambitious as opposed to Mowbray who seemed to eye average unknown players.

I thought MON played 5-3-2 with 2 wing backs Agathe (best right back iv seen in scotland for years) and Thompson???
