he still has a good couple of seasons in him seen him a few times last season and still looked solid

 

i agree, 2 or 3 good seasons in scotland left in him and is an imposing figure that we have lacked since bobo fell out of favour.the type of cb that strikers take a second look at.cant see it happening though but would defo welcome it.

Agreed, he may be 35 but he just did a job for arsenal in the EPL which is a stronger league.
The fact that they want to keep him desperately says it all.

Sol would stroll through Scottish football, look at david weir and he couldnt lace campbells boots, he was still among the tope ten CB's in the epl in the second half of the season and didnt even look like he had slowed up greatly. apparently he was close to getting the nod for England again if Terry had been injured as first thought
Not to mention how much our young CB's would learn of him.

 

at first i was dead against it ,but iam sort of 50/50 now,as long as he aint on more than 20grand iam up for it!

 

Lets be honest, if Sol comes to the club and starts battering the hun players about the park he will be a legend and he will love the way the fans get behind a player who shows bottle and dig, if he comes here and does balls then it will be an expensive mistake, its all down to the player - Id take him!

Big John had no hesitation in slaughterin him. After last seasons defence we do need the expeirence

 

I see his age as one of the best things about him because experience is exactly what we need. Not younger players who have ''potential''.

We can't afford to sign players that will be still learning from their mistakes next season. Campbell is a competent veteran defender and we will know exactly what we are getting.

 

Who cares what Big Bad John had to say , I would take him here in a heart beat far better than anything we have at the club, in the games i watched him for Arsenal he is was strong and commanding something we badly lack he might be older and slower but he is a massive upgrade on Josh or loovens , plus having him working with the younger lads can only make them better i would rather have josh learning off sol than odea or loovens ,

 

Harry Redknapp says if we sign Sol we will win SPL at a CANTER lol.
