Modern day would have to be Henrik...
Oh aye - no question about that

I am saying that, regardless of the result, they were not impressive in the slightest on Tuesday

Well, we shall see. Apparently we are 130/1 against to qualify. Is it worth a fiver? Maybe. Is it worth twenty quid? Probably not...
Possibly. As I say, we shall see.

Three long shots. Or maybe a header as well.

Anyway, it is not over and I hope the players go for it and put Juventus with their backs against the wall.

If we can get 1 in the first half early, the games there for the taking. If we manage it, it'll be the best comeback of all time! We would go on to win the champions league too :56: bring on the barca again!

It`s over. I was convinced we`d do them at home as well.

The ref was a useless * but they are a better team than us, end of story.

Can see them makin the final if they get a decent draw.

maybe a good ref would notice antics and award a penalty in Turin, stick Hooper and stokes up there infront of buffon, why dont we have a full team huddling around him

    Is it over to *?

It's not over until we've no more minutes of football to play in this tie. And the way I see it is that we've a minimum of 90 minutes to get back into the tie.

Sure they have a 3-0 lead, sure they've more quality than we do, sure it'll be in Turin..... there all pretty solid facts. But there is also one more fact that needs to be put into the equation, we're Celtic. We never ever know when we're beaten, we'll never ever give up until it's well and truly over.

We've already overcome the odds so many times this year, firstly beating Moscow in their own backyard and breaking our horrible away record in Europe, we've beaten the mighty Barcelona and we've gotten to the last 16 of the champions league.

Remember in 2003 when we went to Anfield absolutely no one gave us a chance and we did it. Remember in 2008 when Rangers had the title sewn up..... and we went on an amazing winning streak and completely stunned them. Remember just last season when Lenny's managerial reign at Celtic was virtually over, 3-0 down and 15 points behind the huns and we turned that around.

We've defied the odds so many times over the past few years. Remember in 1994 when we where on the verge of extinction and we won the league titles just 4 years later and got to the UEFA cup final just 5 years after that?

It'll be tough and will require a monumental effort of the likes that many of us probably have never seen before, but there is not a chance that I'll accept that it's over. I known Celtic for far to long to ever accept that.

    I think we should play.

    Forster

    Matthews Wilson Mulgrew Izzy

    Commons Brown Wanyama Sammaras

    Hooper Stokes

And just absolutely go for it, because just one early goal and our confidence will be sky high.

There's not a chance players like Broony, Stokesy, Charlie, Forster or Sammy will believe it's over. So why should the fans?

Write off Celtic at your peril.

There is no way in * we are turning it around, it's all about restoring pride now.

I think we might get a 2-2 or something like that.

If it was over their wouldn't still be 90 minutes to play:) *ahh the joys of being a smart *.

Christ we've still got to believe we can do it, even if we are kidding ourselves on.
The bad news is, Juve didn't play their best side in the first leg, at least in an attacking sense.

We've got to go for it from the start and try and get an early goal. Is it possible to score four against them, depends on how badly we want it and we do want it badly.

The risks are huge, the rewards are extraordinary if we did manage to do it.

I think we mix it up with a balance between keeping possession and an early ball over the top to Tony Watt. If Mulgrew can work it into the middle of the park and float one over the top of the defenders, we could really get at them more quickly.

Needs to be a striker that's really fast over 100 meters, and it puts the defender in a really awkward position.

We did it against Barca and if the pass is accurate and the striker knows the drill, it could work.

It also affords us to sit tight at the back. But we'll go with Hooper and Hooper doen't score against this defense unless Wanyama and Commons can get the ball to Hooper inside the box, which is a far riskier play.

Obviously just humping the ball up the park doesn't work, it needs to have backspin on it, like the first goal we lost. I think we give them a wee taste of their own medicine.

If we can get a goal within the first 10 minutes, and another before/just after half time... It's possible. They would start panicking at that point, but on the other hand, Juventus are a tremendous team with a very impressive home record. But so are we, and they done it on our park, so why can't we do the same to them?

I honestly believe Celtic outplayed them.

I think rounded to the nearest percent we probably have 0% chance of going through! If we did it would be the greatest score in our history in my opinion.

A win would be nice - just to make the scores over the 2 legs look a bit more reasonable. It would also be a moral booster to know we can go to a team like Juve and get any kind of result. But no chance in my opinion of going through
