Imagine him talking his Shmizzle mo Jizzle in da mizzle * in a meeting with Dermott and Pistol Pete.

 

Don't know whether this is a good or bad thing for the club, although financially it would be a massive boost if he IS actually committed to this, the ball is in his court

 

He's been in a bit of trouble for smoking weed or having it on him,the only drug he's known for doing is weed,aye ok -the lyrics are a bit sexist,but even the best musicians like Frank Zappa have discriminated against people in song.
He's one of the most recognizable people in the World,saying nothing but good things about our Club,why anyone would have a problem with that is beyond me.

 

He says little to nothing about Celtic one way or the other. He's regularly photographed wearing different football shirts depending on where he's performing that evening and wears a Celtic top at Glasgow concerts because we, coincidentally, have a similar name to the Boston Celtics.

That's all.

 

Imagine the support and interest this would generate in America and around the world. We'd probably have to change the name of the ground from paradise, to gangsters paradise, but I'd be open to that

Not a clue how this would work but he has a genuine interest in us and football, so who is to say he would bring his rapper persona in to the board room. If David Beckham eats with him he must be able to talk normal English or he'd have to be drawing pictures on a napkin so David could understand him.

 

Technically this wouldn't do anything financially for the club. Unless he bought shares in a new share issue.

Strange, strange story. Wouldn't object to him investing, but only if it stops at that. I don't want him trying to take over everything like players we sign, how we market the club, jersey colours - but would never object to him investing money in the club.

The guy is worth $110 million, I wouldn't be against him getting involved on some level.

Why would we want an animal that is in and out of court all the time for drug and firearm offences, someone who glorifies violence. He is better suited for the Zombies.

I know he was photographed in Glasow in 2004 wearing one because some DJ or his mate gave him it and he liked the colours.Since then,he obviously knows a bit more about the Club!
I know this is from the DR,and there's probably nothing to it at all,but I just don't get the hate a few people have for Snoop.It's all positive so why the negativity

 

I don't hate Snoop Dogg. I just don't understand why so many make out he's some sort of uber-Celt or Celtic's celebrity secret weapon in games of supporter oneupmanship when all he's done is be photographed in a Celtic top.

 

Actually he's spoke a few times about Celtic since wearing our shirt, but then again you say "He says little to nothing about Celtic one way or the other." but why would he unless asked? I doubt that's the first question on every interviewers mind when they speak to Snoop or even one about Scottish football, so how on earth can you cite that as a valid argument about him supporting/not supporting Celtic? I don't hear Billy Connolly or Rod Stewart bringing up Celtic in every interview they have but we accept them as Celtic fans and so we should, The guy has shown a genuine interest in our club when as an American rapper with no connection to Scotland or Ireland he has no need to and that's good enough for me

 

I doubt anyone really thinks he's a real supporter,probably just go on about him and Celtic because they listen to his music,and like the man himself.You like your tea,I reckon you'd be over the moon if the PG Tips monkey wore a Celtic shirt,you'd probably do the same as others have with Snoop and use it as your avatar.
