    My thoughts exactly mate!

We wont get him back for cheap and I am hoping the board may give the manager quite alot to spend because if they don't Celtic Park is going to be empty once again!

dont know why skippy was ever pushed out the door tbh. He isnt the most glamorous striker but he scores goals exactly the kind of player we need in times like these

Would have him back. I said I wouldn't pay £3.5m to get him back, but looking at what we've got for that money, a la fortune, he'd be worth every penny.

Is this the same Skippy who spouted off to the press after his move, the same guy who the majority of fans were happy to see go after his seasons of being out of form? The same guy who moaned like a child?

    NO thanks.

No thanks. Scored goals against every level of opposition but we both move on. In an ideal world we replace his goals in a player that has a better all round game.

Skippy was a lazy, moany wee * but he was a good goal scorer for us...

Swap Naylor,Mick and Sammy for him,win win situation:icon_mrgreen:for us anyway.Get our poacher back, get rid of players who aint good enough imo and free up some wages for new players...Well we can all dream:50:

Should never have been sold, we lost our only real out and out goalscorer and 3.5m wasn't good bussiness. All if's and but's but if he had still been here could we have won the league? Missed his goals and his presense in the box.

Sorry but that's a little silly - no chance he would have scored as much as keane.

Aslong as he wouldnt to spend a shitload then id like him back, made a mistake getting rid of him, should have been sammy and/or fortune to go instead. IMO he'd be a brilliant partner for ras.

cant see us getting a better poacher for the money we sold Skippy for. So, aye, I'd take him back for same money we sold him for like a shot. I would also take Robson back.

Yes. maybe WGS can do his old club a favour and give us back Skippy and Robson. Just to be nice he can keep Mick.

Bring him back Celtic. Was gutted to see him slip out the back door silently. Don't think it would happen this summer though- strach wouldn't be happy.

I think Rassa could play with McDonald. I can't believe so many of you are calling skip a poacher, he may not be fantastic at getting past people, or he may not have the pace at times to beat people to the ball. But he is a good finisher who i often see drop right into his own half to take the ball and make it work for him. He could poach. But he could also score goals that looked unlikely. 1-0 at Ibrox ?
