Well, it's from the Daily Mail and not the Daily Record which made me go with it :icon_mrgreen: If I saw it was the Daily Record I would have just ignored it.

Unless I'm missing something and they are sisters papers though. I haven't bought one of those papers for YEARS so I don't know how they are all structured now over there :52:

Looks like SFA DO well know something:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/14710409.stm

"The case is being heard this week and, as a governing body, (bla bla)," said Ogilvie.

    and:

A spokesman for Uefa said the time of Tuesday's meeting has not been confirmed. However, even if the ruling does take place, it likely to be next week at least before the issue is finally resolved, although, with the group games set to start on 15 September, there is an obvious rush to reach a decision.

"The first stage is the Uefa control and disciplinary body," said the spokesman. "After that, there is the ability to appeal the decision and a club is given three days to do that from the time they get the full written submission of the decision.

"The last stage is CAS and a date would have to be set for that..."

I would have liked to have got in without having to go through this channel but rules are rules. We all have to abide by them and they have broken them. If we had broke them, i would fully expect us to be thrown out too.

I'm wanting this to happen obviously but I see this turning into a complete * farce and there's no NEED for it to be so farcical either :47:

I can see it now - UEFA will make their decision next week to keep Celtic in, Sion appeal it immediately and it will be delayed even longer BECAUSE of the appeal. * wars have started and ended quicker than this!!

Trying to remain positive in all of this but the regulations make it hard.

I don´t know if Fener are appealing that decision, I don´t care tbh. And of course Celtic can try to appeal any decision against them on their care (and they should), but I doubt it will be successful - under the circonstances I indicated!

That´s true, that´s him quoted, but I was only talking about the supposed (or roumored?) UEFA meeting tomorrow...

    I don´t know, I´m from Luxembourg :bbpd: :icon_mrgreen:

what happens if this issue is not resolved before the group games start? are they postponed, and resheduled? the whole thing is a farce, it should have been resolved long before celtic even played them in the first place.

If we do go back in I think it could result in the loss of the managers job I know I will get slated but I try and be as honest as poss . There is no doubt in my mind if we het in that group we will get murdered and it ain't going to look good because I think the kind of possible results we could end up with are going to look bad. What the thoughts ?
