Sion Thrown Out Of Europe?

Why would you rather another Swiss team take their place when they didn't merit being in the tournament to begin with. The rule isn't that sion get flung out and someone takes their place.

 

If Platini is saying the ban is still in place then as far as i'm concerned they are * ! Bye Bye Sion ya cheating bunch o * ! UEFA have not covered themselves in glory though ! What's all this "I'm embarassed if we go through * ". The twats should not have been playing, fullstop ! If some cheatin * emptied your bank account but got caught, would you not want your money back ?

 

Well we wanted to sign Feindouno last year, but couldn't agree personal terms with him.

 

The 'I'm embarrassed if we go through *' is because regardless of the eligibility of the players, Celtic were * atrocious. We should have been able to put them away in the first leg and not rely on a UEFA ruling to decide our fate.

It isnt a technicality if they are guilty of cheating.

I would be embarrassed if we got through because they went bust or something, but they cheated against us so didnt deserve to go through no matter how bad we where.

No we get put in Sions group.

 

But sion were were im pot 4. We would have been put in pot 2...

There's nothing to be embarassed about!! They didn't miss the deadline by two hours! They were banned till next year, it's a blatant breach of the rules.
Were we pish .... no doubt about it, but for once it looks like we've caught a break and got a bit lucky, just hope we can turn things around before the group games start.

If we're given this second chance, regardless of whether we "deserve" it or not, hopefully the players will take it because chances like this don't come around too often - especially for us.

Ahhhh it would be so *' good as well to see the team do good in the group stages at least and shut up all these doom and gloom people that have said "we'd be an embarrassment again anyway even if we did get through" :icon_mrgreen:

I'd only be embarrassed if we got through to the group stages the way Sion have.
