Who gets the start next to Toure on Wednesday if we are going for 2 CB's?

Erik without a doubt for me, and I don't have a bad word to say about Jozo. Impressed by him thus far.

I'm unsure as *. -
Erik.

I picked jozo, don't understand the obsession with sviatchenko. He looks an ok player but from what I've saw from simunovic he is streets ahead.

Still Erik for me. Experienced European player and international..
His place could be up for grabs though IF he's still looking shaky over the next couple of game's, and Jozo keeps improving and knocking on the door..
He's not been his self since injury and only once when he came on away in Israel do I think he's looked the player that came in last year overall.. -

If I picked the team sheet both would start in a back 3 with Kolo. If we do go with 2 CB's, I'll go with Erik as I thought he did well against Barca (as well as anyone did), and has more experience against tougher oppponents. Jozo's also just getting back into the swing of things, so If I had to choose I'd stick with Erik. Those concerned about his drop off in form the last few weeks shouldn't be worried, he's been rock solid for us and can have one bad game against ICT.

Jozo, calm on the ball with excellent distribution perfect for Wednesday. Erik as it has been said can be very rash and has been suspect last couple of games. Not too sure tbh...

Wouldn't be overly bothered on either.

Sviatchenko.
Find it amazing that people would take Jozo over him, and I really like Simunovic. Based on what I've seen of them both from last season and this season, Erik is a more solid and reliable defender, both on the deck and in the air. Whereas Jozo is a bit quicker and better on the ball.
Yet to see Simunovic really tested defensively since coming back. -

We've tried 3-4 CB partnerships this season. We need to start to have a consistent partnership.
-
Think it's fairly evident Toure and Erik are our pairing when both are fit, for now anyway. -

Think that'll continue to happen because Toure is 35 and needs rested, despite how athletic he is.

Sviatchenko without doubt.
It is far too early for Erik to be falling behind Jozo in the pecking order, despite a couple below par performances.
Still proven himself to be a reliable and brave performer. -

It's all right sticking close to a man, but Erik often bundles his man over, unnecessary fouls. Although I do like that bit of grit in his play, something we've been lacking last couple of seasons

To throw Simunovic into this would be pretty surprising and I don't see BR doing it. -
