As a Celtic fan in the current climate I thought that we all knew that the reason we go to America almost every year is the money that it brings into the club. We get x amount of gate receipts plus merchandise that will be sold on the day. The same goes for the Emirates cup. We will be paid handsomely for both trips.

Going to America also helps with training and getting fitness back from training in the extreme heats. That is why most clubs with a good bit of money do pre season in hot countries.

Why can people not just get behind the board and management?

I know the board let us down during WGS's final season. But lets be honest they provided TM with more than enough funds that he basically just threw away with inadequate signings. They then tried to make TM's life a lot easier with the loan signings of Kamara, Braafheid and of course Robbie Keane, but Tm still managed to make a right mess of it. In came Lennon and he has had a better start to his SPL career with Celtic than MON did. Obviously there was a blemish on his record with the SC defeat but to be honest we need that at the time.

I will be standing firm right behind the Club the Management and the Team.

There will be ins and outs and lets hope they are all players that will help us win the SPL.

 

if we didn't have keane's goals we wouldn't have ground out nothing and lennon would not even have been considered for the job. if we dont have a similar class player brought in we could be *. the management better not fail this one.

 

this lack of action is driving me nuts

yet i understand that theyve been on holiday ,so i hope it picks up soon

i do think we have to look at bringing some new players by preseason,the more time they all have together the better,but sadly i dont think it will be any big name players.

 

as long as any new signings get some part of pre season with their new team mates then there is nothing to worry about.remember they will also start pre season training with their current teams so fitness won't be a problem.

 

i dont think its that people are worried about mate ,its more they would like the new players to gel in as much as possible before the CL qualifiers

 

If Rogne, Hooiveld, Misun & Maloney are all posted fit for this season - then thats 4 players up on last season already.

We've lost N'Guemo, Kamara, Naylor, Keane & Braafheid - so we're back to square one again.
