we need another striker Ciftci can't be our 3rd choice Nesbitt should be on before he is. A winger and a CB wouldn't go a miss either.

I honestly think the manager will be backed and people need to chill out. I wouldn't pay anymore than 3mill for Sinclair for a start. Transfers take time I think it's good not rushing in and buying *. In a ideal world we would have players in but I'm not panicking there's no way Rodgers came with out insuring he had money to spend

It's not about "not rushing in and buying *". As we've said, Rodgers has known he has two senior centre backs to choose from for over a month now - Erik and Efe. We all know Ambrose is * useless.

We should have had a centre half in for the first qualifier, never mind this one. It's * poor from the club.

Have to agree a centre half should a been brought in 2 weeks ago at least, theres millions of players out there, no we might be left with the calamity clown at the back for astana, which is no were near good enough

Well what would you suggest other than flinging money at people from what I gather Duffy and toure Rodgers preferred options. Blackburn have just sold a centre half for 5mill and probably want near the same for Duffy if they want to sell at all and toure has big money offers from China and Middle East and is weighing up his options obviously. I honestly think this has as much to do with Rodgers as lawell

There's plenty of other centre backs we can pick up. Can't help but feel Rodgers is looking in the wrong market. We all know the fees down south are * mental, so why do we seem to be focusing on that area?

St Juste, who we have been linked with, would seemingly cost less or roughly the same as Duffy, and he'd be on a lower wage. He's ideal for us.

Sviatchenko cost us £1.5 million. The best value is abroad.

I think most are aware that we still have time to pull in a wildcard signing for qualifers but the frustration comes from fear that nothing has changed. A year ago I wouldnt of had this hope something could happen but after BR coming in we all felt maybe the board had showed its intentions going forward. Maybe they understood our fans need for exciting football and some european success.

But this shows nothing has changed and that the board are only willing to gamble on signings after qualification has been achieved.... Im really dissapointed

Serious clubs with serious ambitions get their job done early in the transfer window. This shows that we aren't one of those clubs, that we are still unable to complete our team before important matches.

You can always get into Europa league, but getting into CL is getting harder and harder, especially if you have been out of that competition for some time. It seems to me that some people from our board are pleased with us playing in the EL, which is simply unacceptable for club of such big stature, as long as we are financially sound. Yes, we are financially sound, but we are unable to bring any players, for the second year in the row, during the same crucial period for our team. If I was Brendan, I'd be furious, given all those magic promises which turned to * because apart from Dembele we can't get anybody else in.

My honest message to our boardroom is: "SPEND SOME * MONEY YOU MISERABLE TIGHT *!"

I agree that the money is scandalous down there I just think that's the market Rodgers himself knows best. I also agree abroad is a great place to go but also unpredictable for every Virgil and wanyama there's an efe or bangura lurking round the corner

If im honest i just don't see us chasing all these ex rogers players the media have us linked with...its just the lazy arseholes doing 2+2 and getting 6.
There is no way rogers and the board did not sit down and talk about money....no matter what they claim...it would be just utter madness not to discuss funding and what the club can afford or is willing to spend.
I also doubt roger main signing targets will be in the epl....if they are we are in trouble..because we just dont have the money to go into that market and get what we need.

The silence from our board is deafening. The guys have no ambition for the club what so ever, it'll soon be to little to late once again. You would think they would learn there * lesson ehh?

I thought people would be aware that the club do their business as quietly as possible these days. It's obvious to see why they'd do it like that too.
